  1. Thanks guys! Mark, if my visa gets rejected I would be interested to get your opinion and help going through an AAT review. I know it will cost , but if there is a good chance to get it overturned it will definitely be worth it! Thanks Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks Tickled Pink and Maggie! Maggie, so does that mean any experience I get, even though it was deemed "Not Genuine"and the visa it related to got rejected, would still be valid as part of a 189 visa application? Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  3. Hi Mark. Thanks for the detailed reply. I think immigrations has concern is that the company do not need a full-time employee in my position. My position is and Online Marketing Specialist, so it's qualifies under the Marketing Specialist category on ANZCO. If I were to withdraw my 457 application, would that be flagged the same way a rejected application would be, should I look to apply for an offshore 189 visa? Or does a withdrawal not get highlighted as much? I can get the extra points I need to qualify for the 189 visa from my current position under the "skill on COSL" and "length of employment" criteria. Thanks. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi agents! I was recommended to post in here for your advice. I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. I'm currently on a bridging visa for a 457 but it might be rejected as they believe it is "Not a Genuine Position". If it gets rejected because of this I was thinking of applying for a 189 visa. Now if I do apply for a 189 visa, will the previous 457 rejection because of the "Not a Genuine Position" concern get flagged by immigration? Which would mean any points gained for this experience being disregarded, and the 189 visa application being rejected? Or, as long as I get a letter from my employer confirming I was employed by the company in that position, immigration will consider this and what I submit for the 189 application? I'm in a pickle as I have not idea what to do! Thanks in advance Dan Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  5. Great! How would I find or contact them directly? (Sorry, long time member first time user) Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks blossom. Would you, or anyone, know a good agent? Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks Bungo! Would you know if the 457 rejection (and why it was rejected) would be flagged if I apply for a 189, if not neccessarily rejected. Part of my points will include the experience in the "Not a Genuine Position" job and I dont know if immigration would disregard those points if they felt the position wasn't genuine. 8. Hi all! Meaning the 189 visa application will also be rejected? Or, as long as I get a letter from my employer confirming I was employed by the company in that position, immigration will disregard the previous 457 rejection and just look at what I submit for the 189 application? I'm in a pickle as I have not idea what to do! Thanks in advance Dan Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks Maggie! I'm guessing it states whether or not you have a No Further Stay condition on the original visa grant email. Have you been through this process yourself already? Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  10. Hi fellow poms, Long time browser, first time poster. I'm currently in the process of applying for a 457 visa (my company applied for the nomination a week ago), and have some questions regarding my final stage of the application once the nomination has been granted. 1) I have my Resume, birth certificate, qualifications (degree) certificate, letters from previous employers and jp signed passport copy. Do I need a proof of medical insurance (even though I am a British citizen), police clearance, medical certificate or any other documents? If so, how would I get them? 2) I hear it's better to submit your application from outside of Oz, is this true? I'm currently working for the company, and would prefer not to take an uncessary trip abroad if it in no way effects the application. 3) Anyone currently in the process or have recently completed their 457 application that can say the current processing time? I'm really nervous as its nearly a month until my WHV runs out and I want everything to go smoothly as I'm running short of time. Anyone that can give any general advice it would also be super helpful and appreciated as I'm doing this all by myself. Please help, and thanks. Dan Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
