  1. Is it still possible to do a Diplomia course instead of a Degree or Masters for cheaper but still put you in consideration for PR?
  2. Hello, So here is my situation. I came to Australia in December 2014 and did the majority of 2 years worth in Australia. I travelled much and really enjoyed my time there. Since I came home I realised that I should have done everything whilst there to be able to stay longer and become a resident. I have been looking into ways to come back over but agents seem very quiet on anything until I pay them money, which I don't want to waste without any hope. I am looking to get PR in Australia via any visa possible, be that student or whatever. I'm 25 years old, I have a degree in Business Systems & Information, you need to have two years experience in this area to go on the skilled visa list which I unfortunately don't have because I came to travel straight after I graduated. I have an Aunt who is Australian but from what I've read this helps me in absolutely no way whatsoever. Also, I'm English speaking & born. I've been looking at the student visa option but it seems like you need to spend 35000 for a few years to be able to get on a work visa afterwards.. How is stuff so expensive its crazy. I have the money for the skilled visa but unfortunately without the experience don't seem to be eligible at the moment. It sucks so hard trying to return to Australia. Is there any hope for someone like me in the near future? Thanks for any help and/or advice anyone could give. Regards, Laurence
  3. Surely there has to be a way I can become a resident of Australia. I have a degree from England with Business Information & Systems, but was told on here that was void as a skill unless 2 years experience in that area of work? I've read numerous other ways such as; Moving to NZ to gain PR there? Self sponsorship, not sure how this works without a trade or setting up a business? Becoming a student, the fees seem absolutely ludicrous considering the alotted time you can work on this visa, not sure how many international students manage? And the obvious one people talk about is marrying an Australia, although the time for meeting the woman of my dreams is radically closing quick. Apart from these is there no ways of gaining entry to be a resident? It just seems very difficult for a country that would thrive from letting people in surely?... I don't think I can get a sponsorship because I have no trade which sucks.
  4. Would this also require sponsorship, or merely living in those areas?
  5. Good and bad news I guess, thanks. I'm guessing there is no way to buying your way around it legally?
  6. Hey, I've been in Australia for 11 months. I've already got a second year visa meaning I am eligible to stay in Australia for another 13 months, but I'm curious on becoming a resident. My friends have done the process and advised I look into it sooner rather than later; which obviously, makes perfect sense. Back in England I completed a 'BSc Business Information & Systems' degree, the same year I came to Australia. Because I was at university right up until traveling to Australia I haven't been employed with that skill ever. In Australia I've done plenty of construction laboring also. Wondering if there are any possibilities in me being able to stay? Would a sponsorship be the only realistic way? I'm 24 years old, if that is of importance. Thanks in Advance, Laurence.
