Will definitely keep everyone updated. Surely they will accept it, I've passed 3 theory tests, 1 practical and have driven on my own for almost 3yrs!!

Hi everyone, just wondering if I can simply transfer my Aus P2 licence to a full UK licence or if I have to retake my driving exams. I emailed the DVLA and they replied: Provided your Australian licence is valid, you can drive cars and/or motorcycles for 12 months from the time you became resident. You must apply for a GB licence before the 12 months is up if you want to continue driving after this time. Otherwise you must stop driving. If the licence is valid, you may apply to exchange within 5 years of your date of residency. You can’t drive lorries and/or buses until you have passed a GB driving test in the vehicle required. If you want to exchange you will need to complete a D1 application form. Any replies would be great. Thankyou.
