Today we got 3 PR and all for cook occupation. I think they are taking long time to approve hospitality application specially cooks and chefs.

I applied for cook as well in first week of April and I have long way to go for my day.

Hi folks....finally my hard work and long wait paid off today...I am very pleased to announce that today we got our PR after 252 days....the timeline is below:

 

Nom and visa applied: 07/09/2015 (onshore)

HR country....2 persons

Occupation: Cook

Sponsoring state: QLD

Nom and visa approved: 16/05/2016(NSW PESE- no docs requested)

 

Thank you very much everyone who made this wait a bit easier by sharing there knowledge and experience and the encouragement....and good luck to everyone specially fellow cooks and chefs, who is still waiting for there result....

Nomination and visa grant:- 10th May 2016

no doc asked

RCB Applied:07 Jan 2015

RCB approved : 20 Feb 2015

Nomination Applied : 11 March 2015

Nomination Further Request : 07 July 2015

Nomination 2nd Further Request :13 August 2015

Nomination Approval : 29 Sep 2015

Visa Applied : 30 Sep 2015

Visa Granted : 02 MAY 2016 (Direct Grant)

Processing Center : NSW Paramatta

 

 

Yesterday i called DIBP in the morning to follow up the status since my application marked the start of 8th month. The lady made me hold for good 10 mins and then said they are currently processing Sep files and it would'nt be long now. i had this feeling that they have missed my application. Later in the afternoon i got Direct Visa grant with no further request.

 

It has been a big roller coaster ride for us with such a big time and desperately waiting for more than 1 year and 4 months for the whole process, but as we say that wait is fruitful and surely it is always. Thanks to almighty for showing us this day and rewarding our long struggles and patience.

 

This forum has helped me a lot in tracking the timelines and I wish all the members good luck who are waiting on the decision , just stay strong and you will be rewarded soon.
