Hi everyone, Does anybody know briefly about the general time frame between lodging the visa application and when you actually receive the visa? I have got everything uploaded recently, but no idea when should a CO be assigned and how long until the whole process is done. From what I found on the immi website, it should be 3 months. But there are several cases that I know which took about 2 months or even less. Is there any indication for this? Thanks guys.

I know, right? Im just trying to work out what exactly is their plan for Accoutant, whether they would cut it out completely without our knowledge, or suddenly increase the standard to 70/75 points, since they have the authority to do so. On the other hand, I thought the quota has to be filled before the fy end.

CaptainC, Do you have any news on Accountant occupation? I submitted my eoi with 70 points on 24 august, still no invitation and I am aware of the fact that a lot of 70 applicants have not been invited. Is there something wrong with DIBP? Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. Is achieving 75+ points for 189 a usual thing now (as for General Accountant)? I am not so sure, but based on the past data from DIBP, there were seemingly less than 100 EOI with 75+ got invited in the August round. The way this EOI thing works kind of confusing me. For instance, aren't they going to push the backlog off the queue first, before considering the later applicants ? And what about the applicants who applied earlier than august with 65 points, aren't they also going to be the first to receive invitations in the next rounds? I really appreciate it if someone could explain this to me.

Hi guys, I have got 70 points and submitted an EOI for General Accountant on 24/8/2015, as it stated, date of effect. What is my chance to get an invitation during the two rounds of October? Thanks alot for your input!

This my point test breakdown: - Age: 25 = 30 -English language ability: PTE (L: 82, R: 90, W: 88, S: 85) = 20 - Level of educational qualification: Master of Accounting = 15 - Australian study requirement = 5 TOTAL = 70 point. Submitted on 24/8/2015, General Accountant 2211. I was under the impression that the next invitation round was on 7/9/2015 and the required point for this month is 65. However, I still have not got my invitation for this round. Is there any possibilities of delayed process or any other circumstances? Does anyone have any idea about this situation? Thanks a lot
