Hi guys In September me and my family had to return back to uk as my 457 visa was cancelled as I was no longer working for the original 457 employer as he ran out of work and couldn't pay me basically. I tried getting another sponsor and even started my own business to survive and make the dream work to no avail. When, however I told my sponsor he was to pay for our return to UK he basically chinned me off and said he had no money in the company and I ended up having to borrow the money from family to get us back. So my question is, is there anywhere in lawful writing that says he must pay for it or can he just fob me off like he has and get away with it in the long run. He made our life a misery out there so would like to get something back. We are in the process of applying for state PR to return asap. Hope someone can help. Cheers

Hi I'm looking for some advice on state sponsorship. I'm currently in the UK after unfortunately returning from the Gold Coast as a building associate on a 457 which didn’t work out. We are now however in the process of returning as the same role but this time one a 190 PR state sponsored visa which is much more secure. We are keen to move back to the gold coast / Brisbane area as I have alot of guaranteed work there straight away. Is the 2 year rule to stay in Victoria rigid, as they're the only state offering this visa for my position or can you move somewhere else once you've obtained the visa. Any advice would be gratefully received Many thanks

Hi Just thought I'd check in here to see if anyone is sending a container back to the South of UK anytime soon. Just looking to send a couple of bags back with memorobila stuff in we don't want to lose and can't take on the plane. We are selling everything else this end and starting again back in Dorset. We're looking at leaving from Brisbane in about 4 weeks or so. Hope someone can help. Andy
