Hey Guys, Can anyone tell me as to how long should one stay to retain the PR and what are the rules for citizenship?

Do all the family members have to enter Australia at the same time or can we go at different times before the initial entry date? In my case entry date is August 2016. Also once we are enter is there a mandate that we have to be there for XX months to make sure we get any ID proof etc from the Australian authorities?

They get back only on 30th. Work on 30 and 31. Off again on 1st.

True that Captain. Thank you for the reassurance. As you said they are still working on it so there is some light that i hope to see. I know this is vacation time, so no point in getting frustrated now. Enjoy the vacation and hope to come back to some godo news in 2016.

It was asked when i paid the fees when we upload all documents. Not sure what that confirmation was for.

The VISA officer from the local country embassy did reach out to my current company to check if i am working there. my designation, salary. DOB etc. Does this generally happen and is this a positive step? My HR replied to them and they were satisfied. Fingers crossed.
