Processed in Victoria.

I applied from Brisbane as a geologist. Didnt use an MA, work lodged nomination and we both did a bit of visa stuff each.

I also noticed the same but if you look at the google doc, there were more applicants in May and June compared to other months. It is for this forum members alone. Good luck!

thats because when the spreadsheet was made, the majority of people from April and before were no longer on the forum and already had their visas approved.

it is slow though. It used to be 3 to 4 months. Now it's 4 to 5 months.

Yes shriniwas211, I have not heard anything yet. Since you and Lukesam have left the forum there has been serious drought of visa grants.

Around this time last month there were a heap of visa grants! I remember they cleared a lot of may applicants. Lets hope all of June hear something this week. Im getting tired of waiting......

Look...my expectation is end of Nov....really don't want to slip into Dec as it enters holiday seasons.

If immi dont request any further documents for your nom or visa then yes i think you will get it in November

Thats great. Congrats....Your grant took a long time since they requested your documents though......... do you know which processing centre?

For anyone wondering about training benchmark.....

I think (i could be wrong) that ANYONE could be asked for updated training benchmark (even if your nomination was decision ready). I think they ask a handful of applications for an update ie. your company has STILL being spending 2% of training since you submitted the nomination.

There are so many decision ready applications being asked for the training benchmark info.

I think realistically you have to wait around 5 months these days. 4 months is lucky. 5 months is average. 6 months is annoying.

Hello guys I've been watching here for a while. The waiting is driving me insane ! I'm.direct entry and nomination was out in the 1 St July the visa part has not been put in yet. Using an agent. Hoping for this week. As I'm pregnant and really want this visa before my due date in April good luck everyone !

I think we will hear something at the start of next week. I didn't get any document requests for my visa... I'm hoping they looked at it and its all a-ok once my nom is approved

It wouldn't surprise me if they're picking up a few end of July files so it brings down their processing time average which they probably have to publish every so often....

I phoned immi and they say i have a case officer. How long do they work on an application? I asked immi when did i get a case officer and she couldnt tell me.....

I wouldn't worry about your timeline stacy. Only people who apply for nomination and visa at the same time (or within 2/3 weeks of each other) get their nominations and visas at the same time. Immi are just processing mid-end June applications now so id say you will hear something in the next 7 days

Yep, Aussie payroll would start from actual relocation to Aus i.e. Dec ... (of course the employer is still paying the employee while relocation is still in progress)

The case officer contacted me and asked for a document which was already submitted;

yeh one of the documents they asked for from me for my nomination was already submitted........

The LB's are not giving me chance to change my opinions about LO's to simply CO's. If only they were hard working. Sigh.

Your signature says you haven't had a case officer assigned yet? Is this correct? You and your migration agent haven't heard a thing that you are aware of?

No. It won't. It will stay at application received until you get your visa (or if you didn't upload everything, they will ask you for stuff and it will say 'in progress' or 'information requested'. best case scenario, it goes from application received straight to finalised.

it just means, when you submitted it did you do it with all the required documents in the checklist

i applied nomination and visa on 1 June and 20 June

Information Requested on 8 Oct for nomination and 16 Oct for Visa

Both sent on 21 Oct 2015

Hey we are about the same. My info was requested on the same day and I submitted 15 october. Im hoping we hear something not next week but the week after. I haven't had anything requested for my visa... I'm hoping they've already looked at it and that its ready to go once my nomination is approved.

Immi requested extra docs for your nomination on 6/10/15 correct? And was it training benchmark? And what date did your HR upload them?

Just thinking you got your PR approved pretty quickly (well within 28 days of both request and submit).

You give me hope. Immi request extra docs for my nom on 8/10/15 and HR submit 15/10/15 (training benchmark). Im preparing myself to have to wait another 2/3 weeks but now im hopeful it MIGHT come through sooner.

Just out of curiosity didnt you submit training benchmark docs along with the file, i have noticed alot of people didnt submit them together. Did u choose benchmark A Or B

sorry mate i have no idea. my work submitted everything they did for my other work mates (who got nomination approved without asking for further information). I was not involved in the nomination process

My work sent through the required documents for nomination yesterday. I will either be one of the lucky ones and they will pick up my case today or next week, or I might not get looked at again until mid/end November. There are a lot of people from early May still not approved so I won't hold my breath.... good luck everyone

I applied from QLD, processing centre VIC.

I don't know what was submitted for lodgement for nomination, my employer did it. But they have done other people in the past with no issues.
