Hi mates,
I have been reading this forum for a while but this is my first post. I have worked as a microbiologist for the last 8 years in several developed countries such as Denmark, Canada and Japan but not in OZ (unfortunately). I moved to Australia in May this year and proactively applied for a job ever since. I have been applied for about 100 job vacancies in the last three months (both industry and academia) but unfortunately all I got was either rejection emails or nothing at all. Definitely I believe something is wrong in my CV/CL since I never get any interviews, although my friends and colleagues said my resume looks fine. Seriously I am considering using a professional CV/writer to get me a better chance with my job applications. The prices for this service are not that cheap though, as I have to pay about 200-300 bucks for one CV and 2-3 cover letters.
Do you guys think it is worth to do? Should I go for it?
