Yeah I'm the only applicant and not sure if it helps that I'm already in oz.

Just to let everyone know i got my 189 visa excepted yesterday. EOI 14th jan, Invited 22nd Jan CO on the 8th feb asking for OZ police check. Submitted that on the 14th Feb Granted 4th March. So all in about 6 weeks it took. Also ill let you know that i sent a email to my CO asking to speed up my application due to a job offer that i got given. i sent that on the thursday 3rd march then got my grant the next day. Pretty good for a quick turn around id say.

I've also uploaded my PC as requested by my CO on the 15th, hopefully it won't be much longer now. Theres only me on the application so fingers crossed, not sure if that helps if its a single applicant and also applying within OZ.

Hey everyone. EOI 10th jan, Logged visa on the 22nd Jan, Case Officer assigned 8th feb asking for Aussie police check should be here tomorrow or monday then I'm hoping it won't be long after that ill get excepted. Fingers crossed.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but I'm needing some help with my visa situation, Im currently on a 457 visa but hating where I'm working, I'm trying to find out my best options regarding visa's and what visa to go for. Ive been told the 189 visa is my best option but dont really know where to start do i still need to get my skills assessment done or can i use what i have for my 457 visa, I've only been in my current 457 for 4 months. I know i still have to do EOI first then if granted then i can lodge my application. Any help would be really grateful.
