  1. Hi there, Just wondering if I could gain some advice regarding the 187 visa and from anybody else that has been in my position. I was awarded PR through the 187 visa in 2014 and have been in my nominated job position for 1 year. Last week I was told I was to resign. As far as I'm aware, my VEVO account (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) states that I have PR indefinitely and there are no conditions to my stay. However on the immi website I have also read that if I am not in my nominated position for 2 years immigration 'may seek to cancel' my PR and that I would be able to write a letter to explain why it shouldn't be cancelled. Does anybody know what usually happens here? Is it worth me waiting for immigration to contact me? Or alternatively is it best to approach immigration to explain my situation? In terms of applying for citizenship down the line would either approach be more beneficial? Any advice or explanations of previous experiences would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Frank
