Could I ask someone on this forum a quick question? As well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, I have a PgCert in Secondary Education (Business Education) with a Merit in teaching practice, a PgCert in Education Support and a PgCert in Leadership and Management in Education. I also have extensive experience teaching and delivering ASDAN qualifications to pupils with additional support needs (ten years' experience working in a school for pupils with additional support/special needs). I am unsure if I would be considered a Special Needs Teacher or a Special Education Teacher nec in Western Australia. I am not sure. Any idea based on my information? I have emailed AITSL but no reply from them yet. Many thanks!

We could use both jobs as I am a Special Education Teacher but we are were going to use my wife as the primary applicant as it appears she will secure a job quicker in Perth due to her type of nursing, experience etc. However, she is fearful of the IELTS and I was wondering if there was another way around this. I find it shocking that she has to sit it in the first place.

Hi, My wife has a BA in Business and also a BSc in Adult Nursing both from British Universities. Is she still required to sit the IELTS? Thanks.
