Hi Claire, Sorry can not help you with any info about visa but if your husband can lay carpet, vinyl both domestic and commercial, kardean product, laminate and his work is of high quality he will not have any trouble getting work in Australia. Most layers in Australia sub-contract to shops, don't know how that works with the visa though may have to get a sponsor (not sure) Hope this helps if you need any more info would be glad to help.
