Congratulations all for grant!! I am coming to terms with reality of job hunting now after celebrating visa grant.. Looks like post visa grant journey is as challenging and eventful as it was earlier.. I have resigned from my org and currently serving notice period.. Will be heading to Sydney mid September alone for job search . Till that time trying my luck of getting job from India using all social networking skills.. A bit tough though ! Again congrats and all the best to all for post visa grant journey...

Hurray ................ Got 3 golden mails of Visa Grant today morning !!!! What a relief !! Still don't believe this... it has been long journey since last August.. Thanks all for support and advise.. special thanks to Shelz for advise of calling... I called up 4-5 times today morning.. Heard automated message followed by busy message 4 times before successfully reaching CO post automated message on my 5th attempt.. On cloud nine now .... Cheers and all the best to all !!!

Looks like it is going take a while to get visa grants issued.. Last week when I spoke with GSM guy, I was advised to wait till 2nd week of July for further update on Visa grant.

Hope we get Visa this week :-) Cheers !

What a relief for you...That's great news Pinkestlady !!! After such a long wait and so many hurdles.. you must relishing this moment.. I have too applied for the visa around same time (on 19th Feb). Hope to hear good news early July :-) Cheers !!!

Hi All, Sorry to ask stupid question.. what is dalay mail? can someone share content of delay mail please. I have applied for visa on 19th Feb and shared additional docs requested by CO on 28th April.. after chasing GSM I was informed my application will take some time to process and they can't comment/commit on any tentative date so got a bit worried :-(

I agree... Even in my case - status is still shown to "Requested Info" even though additional documents were shared around 5 weeks back. Also CO confirmed thru email that they have received all requested info and no additional documents are needed at the moment. On other note - I have been informed thru email that even though I have applied for Visa more than 3 months back and provided additional docs 1 month back, Visa Grant will take time and they can't provide any tentative date.

Any idea about 261312 (Developer Programmer).. whether ceiling for (Developer Programmer - 261312) is already reached or not ? Could not find any update regarding this profession on any site so appreciate if anyone can help me with this..

You are right mate !! Just now called GSM - Adelaide office and got update that my visa application is still under process and probably I will hear back at the earliest in July as GSM quota is almost reached... Looks like long wait for all of us now !!! Need to focus on something else in coming few months and stay positive ............................

Oh dear... Is GSM visa limit closed for all occupations including ICT - Developer Programer? I am a bit worried now :-( Looks like nothing is easy in life..

Feeling sorry for all (including myself) who are awaiting Visa grant since long time.. One thing I have noticed is visa grant is done on case to case basis. If you are lucky then you will get direct grant else LONG WAIT :-( I have submitted our visa application on 19th Feb..front loaded all docs (including PCC, Medicals).. On 28th April - provided all additional details requested by CO and still awaiting Visa grant. Hope we will get good news by end of this month. To divert mind and stay optimistic started indulging in hobbies. Positive vibes to all and Cheers :-) *** THIS TOO SHALL PASS ***
