Dear All, i am from Bangladesh and applied for class 189 visa on January 2015. On May I got indian visa and planned to visit india on September 2015. Meanwhile, i am fortunate enough that i am granted 189 visa on July 2015. As far as i know, i am required to inform Australian immigration authority through immiaccount any change of address or passport details (using form 929). should this inform this information (indian visa in my passport)? i did not inform this to immigration authority coz i think passport bearer's name, address, issuing of new passport and other bio information are to be informed if they are changed. Plz advise. Rahat

Dear Mim, i have provided employment certificate from that company in question with proper roles and responsibility which demonstrate my civil engineering practice. As you know, in my cdr i have mentioned 3 career episodes and in that cdr the company in question was not among the 3 episode. But, i have mentioned the company in question in relevant skilled employment record in my submitted cdr. As per aus immi authrity letter to me, they claimed that they did not have proper feedback from my company in question which can justify my claimed responsibility as a civil engineer. The true matter was that (what i came to know from my former colleagues) aus immi authority called my office and a HR executive received that call and answered their question. Ironically, that HR personnel did not know me as he joined the office after nearly 1.5 years of my leaving that company. He did not know nothing about me. If aus immi authority contacted with my line manager or senior persons in HR department, then they got the right feedback. That the main problem for me. Do you have any idea how can i proceed? Hello, I am from Bangladesh and I have submitted my visa application under subclass 189 as a civil engineer. Australian Embassy has enquired about me as per my submitted document. Based on the report of enquiry, Australian immigration authority are not satisfied with one of my previous job role and nature of company I have served. The incident was that I have served in an asset management company (works on stock market) as a research associate and my job was to analyze various companies of real estate sector. Australian immigration authority opined that the above company I have served is not a construction company where civil engineers are supposed to work. Rather, it is an asset management company whose task is to work on stock market and form mutual fund. Australian Immi authority also asked me to provide them necessary explanation within 28 days. But the reality is that an asset management company invites diversified educational background employees to do equity research. I was an equity researcher and I have demonstrated my civil engineering knowledge to do the following things like :Conduct construction project feasibility study, Track latest technological innovation in civil engineering and its impact on real estate sector, Analyze industry input variables like cost of cement, reinforcement bar, pre-fabricated concrete block and other engineering materials and their impact on company operating cost, Communicate with architects, civil engineers, project managers, procurement specialists and other relevant personnel of real estate etc etc My question is what should be the process to answer them? What sort of document should I include to support my answer? I like to inform you that civil engineering is a very diversified segment of engineering where an engineer’s task ranges from doing design, drawing, construction supervision, construction feasibility study, engineering material procurement, man management, cost control etc. I have done many of such things in that company but aus immi authority are not satisfied. What should I do? Please help me.

Dear All, Good day. I have applied under 189 subclass visa on 4th Dec, made all payment and completed uploading all docs within 22th of Dec, 2014. Australian embassy in my country already started inquiring about me based on my submitted information. But still now I am not notified about assignment of any case officer. I do not understand whether I am assigned any case officer or not. Can anyone inform me what should I do? Thank you . Rahat
