  1. Just an update chaps. As expected CO asks for the PCC. Contact is from Adelaid GSM Team. She has left the country to obtain this:) Didn't ask about form 80.
  2. Not sure buddy. My sis lives in Sydney so will go there first and if possible, will travel to WA and Brisbane to check out the job opportunities and other stuff on my list. I just need to know the outcome to give a kick start to the other processes. Will keep you posted
  3. Congrats Doctdavis. was just checking the old posts and you were expecting a reply even by 1st week of March? :err: . like your enthusiasm!!! Just to share with other members, its looks like onshore and higher point scorers gets processed quicker than others. not always been the case but this is the case mostly. we will wait patiently...
  4. Good stuff buddy. Keep us posted about the progress. CO's are into 'first two weeks of feb' applicants. Phew...
  5. I have google'd the other day found a few. mostly from other country's but Poms are quite famous here in this site just google "189 visa timelines" I dont want to be disrespectful to Pomsinoz.com as it is doing a great job. really good site!!!
  6. Damn... you have every stats. quite impressed. there are some other sites where the applicants posting their timelines and experiences, think you are following them too
  7. Haha... I like your positive thoughts!! Having said that, there are still last month's applicants waiting to hear from a CO. Keeping my fingers crossed!! ohh one other Feb applicant has been granted visa. good stuff!
  8. Google docs is blocked here as I go via a proxy. will check it via my mobile shortly. I am sure the case worker will contact me if I get to that stage as I have only 7yrs PCC for my partner. the rest 3 years have to come from another country and its been already 6 weeks since I have applied. happy days!!!! I have applied only a few days ahead of you so hope we are pretty close getting something from an Aussie
  9. gosh... where did you get this info? lucky feb 12th applicant!!! seems like a large lot waiting who applied before this guy???
  10. Hi Alex, I was asking me so many similar questions to myself even before starting the process last year Nov. only reason I have opt to go with an agent purely due to my intense work schedules and a certification I am looking to finish by mid 2015. I am on the Computer networks side of things BTW. I am pretty sure I would have done most of the stuff by myself - but having gone through many threads, there are still odd mistakes people makes - I want an error free application process. first part is applying for ACS accreditation. then EOI process (probably easiest one) and lastly the bigger one, applying for a Visa. As I am applying for a family of 4, the process is much bigger than applying for one. (Eg - I have 2 passports, Wife had to obtain PC from another country .. and many more....) TBH, I am bit tired of my lifestyle here and dont want to make any mistakes in the migration process, then comes looking for an agent. Emailed many and looked at the reviews ect ect and got hold of one. who, I should say exceeded my expectations. no Bu*****s. straight to the point always. I generally help my clients no matter what time of the day (via email) when possible and this agent is exactly in the same boat as me. we even exchanged emails on a Sat night after 11 or Sun. Right, no more about the agent..... So I have agreed a payment options with the agent to split it for every process (3 major processes). If one process failed, then I wont be paying anything extra. first I had set a call with the agent to see am I eligible and can apply, FOC of course, then started the process. I have done a lot of hard work and research during the ACS assessment process (one employer was hesitant in giving me letters - thats another long story ). - Agent done LOOOAAAADS of hard work at the visa applying process and gave me good support in gathering the supporting docs. Still waiting for an outcome after some tough times but waiting seems to be even tougher. my personal advice is to contact the agents and try and set up a free initial phone consultation, they will give you the idea of the costs and whether you will easily succeed in your application, Then take it from there. Hope my long post will help. Good luck Buddy
  11. This one seems to be getting updated. I can see you are in there too https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tTzjNkRDdXRm7VSDjvAxn1Q/htmlview?pli=1#gid=1521985861
  12. Dear Love... I dont think they have touched Feb applicant just yet but we are not too far off. I have applied on 13th and submitted all the docs except form80. (same as the pinkestlady) By looking at the tracker they are trawling around the applications that are made by end of Jan. Shaky time begins!!!!
  13. Hi, Your cert says issue date rather than Qualified date, so you are safe but don't take my words for it. Generally dates on the certificates are issue dates rather than the date you qualified. to Clear things up for the case worker, if you can submit your work experience letter to cover 3 years and include a personal statement (or something like this) to explain the dates, this will be sufficient - I think. So in your case, your work letter should say you have worked from 30/04/2012 to 30/04/2015 (something like this to cover 3 years) and you can include a statement to notify the case worker, that the degree is completed on the 25/03/2012 but the cert was issued on 02/07/2012. Which uni / education establishment are we talking about here? can they issue you a letter saying when the course ended and when the cert was issued?
  14. Hi PomCop, Personally I was confident that I will get what I want in the first attempt, and didnt book/start studying for the exam, until I receive a positive reply on the skills assessment. it turned out to be I was overconfident and let my self down as I have scored 7.5- 8 on all but 6.5 in writing. I needed 7 on all modules. so I had to book for the second time and get the scores I wanted. this has delayed the EOI and then the Visa application by a good month +. My personal advice is start studying sooner rather than later and if you didnt get 8 in all modules, try again. its a daunting task to study the whole thing again and again but only way to overcome this hurdle is practice, practice and practice. there are loads of free resources available on the net. Ohh..and my exam experience showed the markers for speaking and writing dont have a box standard marking scheme (they follow certain guidance).- one can give you 7.5 and the another can give 8. so there is a bit of luck as well (I have done the exam in 2 difference centers) good luck mate
  15. Hi Sahar, from my research form 80 only needs to be submitted if the case worker requested it, and not many poms are been asked for it. (Although I have seen a few). I also have seen many people ask about the processing time , and its a little silly question really (sorry nothing personal- just a general personal opinion). I understand the wait is a painful one and you are not alone. I am in the same boat and I always visit forums to check things out. it depends on various factors and the place you are applying from. it looks like they are processing it in 2-3 months and post your time lines here buddy. All the very best
  16. Hi All, I am adding my timeline too to this thread as I have applied on Feb 13 (its a Friday--- ooops) like couple of others. I must say the plan to move to oz came out of the blue and no plans on which state we will be moving to (if granted ). So actively looking up the fellow member's posts. my Mrs lived 3 years of her last 10 years in another country and the PCC from there may take a while to get it. ---------------------------------- ACS- 236111 : 28 Nov 14; +ve results: 15 Dec 14 | EOI logged 1 Feb 15 | Applied 13 Feb | Medical 04 March 15 | PCC awaiting
