This was from days ago but Dutton has rejected their chance think just last night or so and is forced to return. Our family faced the same fate (although a great luck has given us back in the country after reapplying) and although I have changed quite a lot back then and now, it is very relatable to my circumstances. Was on the news a couple of times. Have a good look of it.

Hello, need help for someone we know.
He was on his WHV, and applied for a second year VISA.
He held a BVA and left Australia with it, and later was informed (when returning back to Australia) that his VISA has been cancelled and returned back to his home country.
And he still wants to re-apply and we want to know if it possible.
Thanks

What's with the processing times? Why are they taking so long?
I wish everyone gets the Australian Dream!
-
How long did it take, To obtain it? And does anyone know if it varies on the occupation of interest?
-
Well firstly sorry for the poorly written English, adding a confusing explanation of the situation
What do I want to get out from here? Wouldn't there be similar questions and answers? Since this is a big site about Australian Immigration. But like you said, since it is technical I will stop asking questions
I am out of Australia. I know people move out but mine is a different story. The big problem is that my country doesn't provide the equivalent education.
After the terrible result (MI outcome negative) of our family I went to the DIBP to find some answer, which I did.

But what is the point of considering the case to the minister when the minister only looks at the cases with the most crucial circumstance?
-
We were highly recommended by a case member because our issue was complex
-
I heard that the child's problems (which I was the secondary applicant) may be a consideration to the Minister during the Intervention
Also, does the refusal of Ministerial Intervention gives something bad in return?
-

- Yes I know, just that I wanted to find a way back
- Complex, I am not the applicant
-
Better question
Can Ministerial Intervention give you a 3 year bar of making any sort of VISAs?
-
Do they request it? At the end or was it submitted alongside?
-
Sorry for the terribly written piece
- My family came to Aus as missionaries, and lived as that for 4 years, then my father decided to apply for a PR as he was approaching 45, the age limit. But the nomination from our organization, where we lived for 9 years, was refused because of money issue.
- As my father was old for the PR, we went to the tribunal to discuss this matter. Which took almost 3 years, just to get our nomination refused again. Then moved to the Minister recommended by the court member or something.
- Intervention was refused again and our family was sent home. Which devastated me, and decided to go to the office in Melbourne because of my emotions.
- Re applied for a PR because we were eligible.
- Nomination part was refused because of the contract problem, where it did not express the 2 years properly. Really devastated because of all the stuff we left if we came back
-
I meant the nomination being refused. Which will reject the VISA app being seen.
It was the contracts problem. How can you make a contract when a date is not confirmed?
Has anyone done the same? Where they ask the contract explained?
-
Contracts problem. Don't really know how though
How do you make a 2 year contract when you don't know when the VISA will be granted?
-
Is there such a thing called the "hidden black-list"? Apparently our nominee had a similar problem
-
Hello,
On 2010, our family's nomination was refused, at that time we were a missionary and it was the money issue, and since the age limit was 45, we had no option other than a merits review and waited 3 years until for a response by the Department for the tribunal...which was affirm.
After that, one of the members recommended to my father to intervene to the Minister, which got refused again and we were sent home, with a ban.
But we applied again for a different place and the nomination got rejected last week because of the contracts issue.
Which is shocking as we lived for 10 years in Aus. And I am only 16 BTW.
Our MA mentioned about a secret "black list" kept for people who intervened to the Minister. Is that correct?

How long can it take from the correspondence?
-
Does anyone know the meaning to this?

Its been a long long time coming with so many ups and down.
but I'm unbelievably relieved now.
Guys sit back and wait, unless you are coming across a problem.
i know waiting is no fun, but nothing much you can do about it.
i wish you all nothing but the success (I'm pretty familiar with you all now)
thank you for all your views/ideas/timelines - it'd be a big fat lie if I say if I didn't find
any comfort with all that in the past hard times.
Congrats!
BTW, what docs were they?
-
I think ours will take a long time despite the date asked for it (22nd May)...Parent's IELTS and 4 Police certificates, and got school to go to (Can't go to school in my home country because of the difficulties and coping issue)
-
To put it bluntly...you wait! Sorry but nothing much else you can do.
I get that BTW. Worse is that I am overseas.

Got a mail from a DSO via MA
"Thank you for your e-mail.
The provided information has been attached to the application and will be assessed by a case officer in due course."
Now what?
-
Phi5ped did you submit nomination and application together?docs requested for Nominations or visa application?
Firstly, my father's nomination was put separately because of risk getting rejected, but MA put it in anyway
Secondly, both. So that seems to be the issue. Haven't heard anything

Lot of people pay 6 even 7 figure money to an agent or whoever to obtain residency which recently most of them don't work these days because of the DIBP being strict on asylum. Not the problem of the Immigration but the fraudster.
