  1. Thanks for the reply. When are you planning on moving out? Do you have any work in place for when you get there? It is a big decision to make, i just feel the uk is heading downhill fast these days! Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  2. Iv looked into the visa process now and it appears i would qualify for 75 points after the ilets exam. Happy days. I now wonder if i did get a visa would i have to actually enter australia within a certain timeframe or could i just get my visa sorted and make the move in a few years? 4. Just returned from perth and loved it. Looking at the possability of relocating myself, wife and 2 kids permanently. Is this possible without sponsorship and if so is there a rough costing for the application? Any info would be much appreciated. Im fully qualified joiner in uk with 18 years experience, no criminal record and full english spoken if this helps any. Age 35. Also, wifes sister is a full australian resident or citizen( not sure which). Is there any visa i should be specifically applying for??? Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi. Thanks for taking the time to read this. We are currently considering wa as my wife's sister resides there and can seem to find any info on how much the visa process may cost? Just a rough idea would help. We went to an immigration expo and was told we would qualify no problem. I'd just like a rough figure and even what companies anyone could recommend. Also . What kind of rates could I be paid as a joiner/carpenter as I find all the job ads never state a rate. Many thanks. Calum
