Hi, we May be moving to Sydney from the UK within the next 6 months and I'm beginning to do list of research on schools, places to live etc. I'm pretty much sold on renting a harbour view pad in Mosman after speaking to a friend that lives there and have been keeping an eye on rentals in that area on real estate website. Schooling is key and will determine where we'll live ultimately, as we don't want to travel far, plus we'd like to send our 4 year old daughter to private all girls school (which is what she currently attends back in Bath). I've contacted Queenwood School and it looks like a lovely school, they said that they have a place for our daughter fir when she turns 5 years old and that she'll be able to start in January 2016, which is perfect - enough time to settle the whole family, find our bearings, establish a routine and find some toddler activities to do, so that we can both meet new friends. If you're a parent that currently sends your daughter to Queenswood, I'd love to hear from you, as I'm tempted to just bite the bullet and pay a security fee to guarantee her place rather than wait until we're there for a tour of the school/interview etc, by which her place may have gone! any weekly toddler groups in the area, or close by would be good to know too. I've found Bonjour Babies French class in Manly, ballet and music class already. Teresa
