  1. Wow Saff! Congratulations - on the PR and new job! Fantastic news. Hope you had as good a night as I did last night! At least I know now that you won't be coming after me for releasing the tracker (that no longer works!)
  2. Has anyone been able to edit the new tracker link?!? I am trying to - as need to change it - I got our direct visa grant emails about 30 mins ago!!! 74 days exactly! Adelaide Team 2. Overjoyed, now I can send my email to my employers setting out my demands to keep me (already drafted this morning!). Good luck everyone, hope your wait won't be as long as mine! And if anyone does have any luck with editing it - can you let me know how.....:chatterbox::wink:
  3. Saff, posted before I saw your post. To be clear, I have shared on the proviso of noliablility for any suffering of anxiety, depression, frustration, sleep depravation, reduction in work performance, attention depravation to friends and family or any other symptom of releasing the link!
  4. If you are sure..... this is working for me that I found on another forum! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tTzjNkRDdXRm7VSDjvAxn1Q/htmlview?pli=1#gid=1521985861
  5. Think I've found link to access it. After a day of withdrawal are you sure you want the tracker back in your lives.....are we not better not knowing! I think I would have been happier thinking 3 months was good!
  6. My husband called this morning - you were right - really courteous! They advised that it has been assigned to a processing team - Adelaide GSM Team 8, and they gave an email address. We were meant to receive a notification within 2 weeks of allocation to the team (according to the DIBC standards), and haven't - so my husband emailed them this morning to check all was OK. We were on holiday a few weeks ago (so offshore even though an onshore application) - which may have caused someone to park our case (which is fair enought) - so he just noted we hadn't received notification, and wanted to check all was OK - and to let them know we are back in the country. Hopefully this will let someone pick the case up (in case this was holiding them off). At least we know now it has moved somewhere! Thanks again.
  7. Thanks moaustralia and saff. Right - confidence gained - will try them in the morning!
  8. Thanks Saff! W We all know is not the full facts regarding them processing early Decembers in early March. In early March (ie the 2nd) they weren't newly assigning anything pre 24th Dec, and had started approving January ones (up to the 9th Jan)! This means they were processing from early December up to the 9th Jan. What date did you apply and when did you call? Worried that if I call, that they will put a black mark against me, and deliberately not pick the file up until the 3 month time, and then ask for onerous additional information! On the tracker, someone who applied on the 21st Dec called, and they were advised that they are scheduled for end of March assessment, which makes me think that pre 3 month callers may be seen as an annoyance. Were they friendly or unfriendly when you spoke to them? Weighing up if I should or not..... seems OK to call once CO assinged or 3 months has passed, but not sure if should just because everyone else seems to have been dealt with. Really need the PR confirmed to sort some work issues out for both of us, hence my impatience. My work particularly are messing me around without it and I want to own my own life again, and the next 2 weeks are crucial for this. Within a couple of weeks at least my 3 months will be up to justify a call! Be good to hear how you get on. Thanks Wallse
  9. Big Congrats Husage123! And a direct grant too! You are the last person on the tracker on either side of my date to get their visa or a CO, so hope that ours will come soon. Best of luck with the move over here - it is worth the wait/hardwork!
  10. Day 67....Still no contact whatsoever from DIAC, try 67 days!
  11. Thanks RonieOz2015. Was worried about changing email address of correspondance for the application from primary applicant email address (ie - my husband's) - but have done as you suggested and it looks like it just alerts you when their is a change of status or correspondance. Actually did it in the IMMI login page under My Preferences, manage application alert preferences accidentally - but think does the same thing (ie - automatically applies to the live application). Having done this, and then gone into the application again - it looks like his email is still the main correspondance email - so you may have just saved my marriage....
  12. You have a case officer though don't you Benj10980? Thought I saw that on prior post, but not showing on the tracker. I am still awaiting CO. Driving my husband mad - cos I keep logging into IMMI to see if we have anything yet- and he gets the email notifications everytime. Have offered to log directly into his emails if he gave me the password, but he didn't seem to like that!
  13. I am onshore - and on a 457 (ie - working visa). I applied on the 11th and nothing - so don't think it is onshore or working people that get a priority. I think they just divy out 10 days worth of applicants - and it comes through quicker based purely on who happens to be looking at it and where you are in their pile. I have analysed everywhich way too, and think it is just potluck. There happen to be more onshore people on the tracker at the mo - hence why lots of them are getting their visas... Think we all just need to be patient (she tells herself calmly!!!).
  14. Thought being on holiday in Japan would distract me from checking the tracker 20 times a Day. Agree that it looks like they have handed out cases up to 9th January this week, so don't expect anything until early next week earliest. Doesn't stop me looking all day though at the tracker!
  15. Hi cantthinkofone. Well hello. Welcome to this forum! I only joined yesterday, after submitting my visa a few weeks ago. We had Washington Accord degree too, submitted it on the 16th Nov (just after new online system introduced which seemed to throw around who was getting what and when - but I think they are all caught up now). We received the assessment back via email on the 8th Jan, which enabled us to submit the EOI that night in time for the invitation round the following day. So - about 7 weeks all in including Christmas. Have you emailed msastatus@engineersaustralia.org.au? Email that address, just putting 'status' as the title, as you get an automatic email back within about 30 mins telling you what they are currently processing. It was spot on for me - they said were processing accredited degree - ie Washington accord - assessments received from the 14th November, and ours came through that week. Also - if you check the automatic email, and they are saying they are processing things later than yours by more than 10 days - you can fairly chase up with a call. Good luck!
  16. Hi Pinkest Lady. Are you claiming points for your degree? If so - have you had it assessed as being equivalent to an Australia degree (which I believe is a requirement - but don't hold me to it). I think people have got in trouble assuming a degree is equivalent to an Australian one in the past. Just checking before you pay a big amount of money over that can't be returned. Not sure if you have to have had it assessed in advance (as you are stating in your EOI and visa application that you have a degree equivalent to an Australian one) or if they are happy to review a submitted transcript and certificate at DIAC (who are not degree experts). We had my husbands assessed as part of his Engineer's Australia skill assessment - which is standard for Engineers. Probably worth checking before you submit. If you aren't claiming points for it - I wouldn't worry too much about submitting the actual certificate a little later - if you have the transcript to upload, as it is really extra stuff to substatiate your a good migrant. But do submit it when it arrives. We managed to leave my husbands birth certificate in the UK at his parents. While we wait for it we have uploaded a certified copy of his passport (which is OK as a substitue on the checklist) and will submit a copy of the original when it arrives. What do others think on this one?
  17. Hi All. I am joining this thread as we too lodged our visa application on 11th January (very excited!). The waiting commences! We are already in Sydney on a 457 visa, having arrived in Feb 2014, so we have already done 'the move'. So far, application done and all uploaded including Aus PCCs and the Medicals for us both - just awaiting UK PCCs back. I got an email this morning acknowledging receipt of the UK PCCs on the 19th January, so hopefully they won't be too long....has anyone else received UK PCCs back recently? Would be good to know how long people have waited. I have seen from other threads that in Nov/Dec they seemed to be taking a while... IELTS Results 14-Nov-14 (S:9,R:9:W:8.5,L:9)| Engineers Australia skills assessment submitted 16-Nov-14| Engineers Australia +ive assessment 8-Jan-15| EOI submitted 8-Jan-15| Invite: 9-Jan-15| Lodged: 11-Jan-15| Medicals: 15-Jan-15| Aus PCC: 16-Jan-15| UK PCC: awaiting... Anyway - good luck all.
