Hey Captain C, you were right... with my 70 points, I was selected on 7th Sep! :-) Fab news after I only submitted my EOI in August...hope the rest of the process goes as smoothly for us now. Now, this is where I need further advice & guidance from all u guys. 1) My Skills Select account now has a tab which I think is called 'submit visa' (or something like that), is that what I need to hit to submit the documentation they require? 2) Do I apply for my police check & health assessment now or do I wait for a CO to be allocated to my application....this bit is confusing! I know I only have 60 days to give them everything they require and would like to get it done. Any help would be really appreciated!! :-) Good luck to everyone in this next stage & to everyone still waiting...fingers crossed, October will be the month for u guys.

Captain C, u seem to be someone in the know! :rolleyes: I am aware that once you get invited, (Hopefully me on 07.09.15) you have 60 days to upload all of your supporting evidence/documents. Any ideas how long it takes them to process stuff & actually grant your visa??? I was naively hoping I would be in Oz by January, but it doesn't seem likely at all. Thanks.

I keep reading people write about these reports you can read for your profession, to see what the lowest points were for people selected for invitation. I can't find that report anywhere for my career. Would really appreciate someone telling me where to find them? Thanks :smile:

Hey Steven106, I thought it's advisable to not apply for your police check until you get your invitation for the visa, in which you complete police checks & health checks within that 60 day period? I haven't applied for my police check yet..... Think you can do it either way, but your visa once issued goes off your police check date, so I was giving myself a bit more lee way on time frames. How long did your police check take? I'm sure I read somewhere it comes back as quick as 10 days?!
