This authority (TRA) have 2 requirements 1 qualification 2 job experiance. One can get qualificaion diploma or trade qualification by student visa in au , but the matter of concern is how to get job exp in au ?? A person who hold a diploma or trade qualification in an occupation from SOL and if it meets to requirement of au standard they can get an special visa 485 , http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/485.aspx A person can get 485 visa by assessing their qualification 1st from one of 4 job ready programe assessment Job ready programe >>> http://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/Programs/JobReady/Pages/default.aspx 1st assessment >>> http://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/Programs/JobReady/Pages/Step-1---Provisional%20Skills%20Assessment.aspx if a person getting positive result in 1st assessment , they can apply for 485 visa , and in that visa they can cover the requirement of job exp which is required for perm visa , And after getting job exp in 2nd 3rd and 4th one they will assess everything for perm visa and if a person getting positive result in 2nd 3rd and 4th they can get permanent visa , I am not sure how many points can be earned on it IMO just 10 , Thanks for reading....

Hello , can you please tell me a lil bit about that ''job ready programe'' ?? is this the same job that is required in permanent visa (2 yer) with qualification ?? How an international student can get it if he is on study visa ??

This is the problem , they require us to have job 2 years job experiance along with qualification (Certificate III) , We can get qualification on student visa the problem is how to get that job experiance ?? if you guys can explain it , it will be great.....

Thanks, But i am not able to find any diploma course on TRA site which will later help me in point test perma visa , and also please tell me usually there are 2 years of diploma couses in au so why 2 year dip will not be assessable ??

I want to migrate to Australia , And i need a qualification for that , If i do Electrical Diploma in Australia (2 years) on study visa , Will i be able to get permanent visa 189 ?? Will Electrical Diploma done in Australia give me 10 points ???
