Project Manager Full Time Position Location – Northern Territory, Darwin The Akron Group NT is seeking multi-skilled Project Manager with qualified skills. This position includes planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating renovations of houses and units for the Department of Housing. Tasks include but not limited to: interpreting architectural drawings and specifications coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment negotiating with the Department and other parties involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget operating, scheduling and implementing coordinated work programs for each site ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work arranging building inspections for the Department Provide high-quality administrative support to the project teams and take responsibility for the effective and efficient running of the production offices Overseas work and reporting on variations to work orders Solid leadership, communication and management skills to lead and develop an effective and productive team The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and subcontractors Ambition to move into Project Management You must have a very high organisation skill and willing to drive a team.
