Hi Guys, Just received 190 lodgement invitation and 60days count down started. Can i submit police certificate after visa lodgement at a later time? That is can i lodge now and when certificate ready, can i submit just the certificate later? One of my police certificates will take 2 - 3 months to be issued. Please help me.

Im from bangladesh and as far as i know, our security checks are much more time consuming and detail than applicants from US, europe, malaysia, etc. so i just gotta decide now whether to go for 189 or 190. coming back to my first post, pls let me know how to get british police clearance for my wife. She studied in UK.

Ozmaniac, let me show you my self assessment so you can advise if i meet points test. age: 29 yrs. points 30 English language: proficient, 7 in each band. Points 10 Skilled employment: 5years overseas skilled employment assesed by engineers australia. Points 10 qualification: bachelor degree assessed by engineers australia. Points 15 im from bangladesh and the reason i want 190 is coz its much faster than 189. My friends who applied 190 got grant in around 3 months whereas my other friends applied 189 got grant in 12 to 15 months. Looking forward to your advice. thanks

Hi guys, need your advice on something. My slef assessment is complete. Got 65 points without state nomination. Will be applying to NSW in february intake. if unsuccessful then will go for 189 immediately. Will DIBP case any problem since i will be applying EOI twice, once for 190 and then 189 only if i get rejected by NSW. thanks.

Dear all, i will be applying in february. Occupation is electrical engineer anzco 233311. Ielts achieved overall 7.5 and 7+ in each band. Skills assessment successful for both education and 5 years of overseas work experience. I recently got rejected from victoria state nomination. They told me there are more suitable applicants. so i was wondering how are my chance for NSW. any advice will be helpful. Also, sample resume of anyone who got nomination for this occupation will be a great help. Thanks.
