Hi People, I am hoping somebody can help, even if it's just to let me know I need professional help. I am currently waiting for a visa, whilst I wait i am coming to Australia on a holiday visa. Because I spent almost a year in Aus a few years back, I am told if i spend more than 20 days in Aus before my main visa comes through, I need to provide an Australian Police Check. Because of a silly incident involving alcohol and an over zealous police officer when i was last in Aus, I ended up in court with an unrecorded verdict and a $140 fine, which got paid straight away. My question is, how much will this incident affect my chances of getting my visa,, and any ideas what information i am obliged to give etc would be appreciated. Really hope somebody can help.
