  1. Auspost do check... I only need to send my birth cert and my daughters... as it is timewise she'll likely be travelling on her Australian. Consulate in Melbourne advised its ok,but to check and call passport office in UK tonight
  2. Thanks Calgary, I tried that... I looked up an Auspost online and went in and they denied having had any training or knowledge... could try another one as I think you're right it'd be easier... how long did yours take? I'm wondering if she had to if timewise its too late if she'll be able to travel on her Aus one...
  3. Hi, thank you... I am trying to find some clarity on what docs are needed ... it is confusing.
  4. I found this doc: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/british-passport-child-supporting-documentation It contradicts itself with the application... here it says birth certs of both parents... husband is kiwi and needs his birth cert for his own ancestry visa application.. Also do we need to provide a reason why applying from Australia, as it says, or is it self evident?
  5. So I am British born, now with dual nationality. We have flights booked for 3rd July for return to UK. Our 3 month old baby's photo for Aus passport has just been declined, which likely means UK one too. Photos now redone... means delays as been a nightmare to find countersignatory... will get it signed today. Looking at the docs... It is so unclear what they want... They want my daughters and my original birth certificates? Is that all? How do we get them back? Sounds risky...??? They don't want copy of my British/Australian passport? (husband kiwi...so N/A) Can someone with a better head than this please list for me the docs I need to send with this... If that's possible... so many thanks!
  6. I have dual nationality, father is consenting and kiwi... seems ridiculous to get passport photos for a 10 week old baby... and how an adult can not be in the photo? Guess in her capsule or something?
  7. Hi bimbo bread ... Can I ask why you went for an aussie passport and does it effect the baby's rights only having Aussie or cause hassle in anyway such as passport queues? thanks, congrats and all the best
  8. Thanks, I started filling in form MN1 and the father has consented there... how can he consent through the online passport process?
  9. Hi there, I was born in UK and moved here several years ago and now have dual citizenship. I am hoping to move back to England within a few months. My baby's Australian birth certificate is now in so I can get the ball rolling... however I'm not sure where or how I need to roll it? Is she automatically British? Do I need to apply for British citizenship for her? What do I need to do to get UK passport? Basically for her to have full British rights what do I need to do? Many thanks
  10. rent assistance and child support sounds pretty good to me right now
