  1. Thanks for your response. Please advise based on below facts. 1. My wife(Age 34years) has got double Masters Degree (MA & Mphil) but she has experience of just 5 years in last 10 years and has a gap of approx 5 years in immediately preceding last 5 years. As she took a break because of our new born child at that time. However she is more qualified than I am. Can she claim points based on that? In short my wife has more qualification but less work experience in immediate preceding last 10 years. 2. I (Age 40 years) have 15 years of corporate experience and a Graduate with PG Diploma in Mgmt. More work experience and less qualification. Now why we are getting confused is that we are of the opinion that since once my wife has already been through immigration once for processing her current visa, her age, her IELTS score of 8 etc. It might be easier for her to apply and honestly though I have documentary evidence of my past work experience it will be too much of paper work. I will appreciate your response. Thanks again
  2. Hi Guys, Me and my family have moved to Adelaide recently (April 2014) on Visa subclass 574 (Postgraduate Research Sector) valid for 3 years. My wife is the primary applicant of this visa as she is pursuing her PHD from University of Adelaide and my status is dependent spouse. Now I will appreciate if someone can guide me if 1. my wife can be a primary applicant for PR visa as we want to proceed for PR 2. Or do I (with over 15 years of corporate experience) need to apply as primary applicant and get my skills assessed. Thanks
