Hey guys, so I logged into my immiacount about 5 minutes ago for the 100000th time and saw "granted" where processing used to be, about two minutes later I received my golden email from my CO in Parramatta. My time line is as follows:
Nomination lodged, 27/02/2014
Nomination granted, 14/04/2014
186 Visa lodged, 24/06/2014 (Melbourne)
Loaded all docs except medicals, 26/06/2014
Medicals done, with high blood pressure on the day, 29/08/2014
186 Visa granted, 25/09/2014 (Parramatta)
High risk country
Never heard anything from my CO until now.
Hell yeah, time to pop the champers.
Good-luck to all you guys still waiting.
You next jessiejam

Can you smell it jessiejam, almost there.

From what I've being seeing so far, the late June crowd have slowed down big time. At a guess, I think they have loads of late June applications.
-
I'm South Africa, electrical but I dont think the trade matters much.
-
What is your timeline!i have applied 186 27 jun 2014 nomination and application together.i haven't heared anything yet with high risk country.
Both jessiejam and myself are 24th June and still waiting.
My nomination has been approved about a month before.

My nerves are completely shot jessiejam, I'm seriously so over this bloody waiting game now. I really hope at least one of us get a grant this week......fingers crossed. :arghh:

One of the guys on the "pomsinaus" site in the 187 thread's friend got a visa grant today in the 186 sub-class and he lodged on the 27th.......I'd love to know how these applications get assigned.
-
186 is going lot faster by the look of it.
One of my friend got his visa granted today, we both applied on same date-27th june.
But no news for my RSMS.
Hi Param, I applied on the 24th June in the 186 sub-class and haven't heard anything yet....Do you have any idea what office your friend got processed through?

Some good news:

-
Congrats geojess! That's great news! Do you know what office your were processed through?
kseafield, you and I applied on the same day, June 24th? It's getting close for us now. It has to be

We heard from our MA today, the dept are requesting I submit another Police Certificate that includes my maiden name. My British Polic Cert shows my maiden name but not the Singaporean one. We've lived in Singapore for the past 7 years. Problem is that the application form for Singapore Police Cert has no box for maiden or previous name. And all applications must be submitted with a passport that matches the application name. I don't have passport with my maiden name, have been married 14 years and not used my maiden name since the day I was married!! MA is going back to the dept with this info & hopefully we'll come to some resolution.
Despite the above hiccup & am just thrilled that our application is getting looked at! Need to take away something positive!!!
That is very, very unfortunate. I hope we don't get asked that because South African police are just the worst to work with, it will take us forever to sort out. At least you guys are officially in the queue now and we submitted our app a few days after you so fingers crossed.

It's a bit quiet here now......what's happening guys?
-
Hi paulinmelbourne, I saw this on our immiaccount today. I was looking for the A or B grade but cant find it anywhere, hopefully someone here can tell me if it's possible to check.
-
Does "Health has been finalized for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department", mean that my high blood pressure reading in the medical has been accepted?
-
Hi guys, just an FYI that I just came across. Here's some interesting info on the medicals.
-
@ 190888 and sucxx.......thanks guys, have some peace of mind now.
-
Hi all, just done our medicals and for some reason my blood pressure was very high (159/86). It's never been this high before and I've been checking it the whole week, has this happened to any of you guys yet? Just a bit worried now, also what will the dept. do now?
-
Well, this is odd part. CO's email signature doesn't include any location bit.
[redacted]
Case Officer
Permanent Employer Sponsored Entry
Department of Immigration and Border Protection
Tel : 131 881
Email: [redacted]@immi.gov.au
Just this.
At least it looks like there's some action.
-
CO requested additional doc for both myself and employer, immiaccount doesn't show any update tho.
Nice, what office sucxx?
-
