  1. Hey guys, so I logged into my immiacount about 5 minutes ago for the 100000th time and saw "granted" where processing used to be, about two minutes later I received my golden email from my CO in Parramatta. My time line is as follows:

    Nomination lodged, 27/02/2014

    Nomination granted, 14/04/2014

    186 Visa lodged, 24/06/2014 (Melbourne)

Loaded all docs except medicals, 26/06/2014

Medicals done, with high blood pressure on the day, 29/08/2014

    186 Visa granted, 25/09/2014 (Parramatta)

    High risk country

Never heard anything from my CO until now.

Hell yeah, time to pop the champers.

Good-luck to all you guys still waiting.

    You next jessiejam

  2. 186 is going lot faster by the look of it.

One of my friend got his visa granted today, we both applied on same date-27th june.

But no news for my RSMS.

Hi Param, I applied on the 24th June in the 186 sub-class and haven't heard anything yet....Do you have any idea what office your friend got processed through?

  3. Hello. I have been following this thread for a while now.

    My PR got granted today.

    My timeline is as follows:

186 visa lodged complete on 9 June through MA.

    Medicals complete 13 June.

    Nomination approval Letter 11/9.

    visa approved 12/9.

    no contact with CO.

good luck to those still waiting.

    Congrats Karl

What office did it go through?

  4. We heard from our MA today, the dept are requesting I submit another Police Certificate that includes my maiden name. My British Polic Cert shows my maiden name but not the Singaporean one. We've lived in Singapore for the past 7 years. Problem is that the application form for Singapore Police Cert has no box for maiden or previous name. And all applications must be submitted with a passport that matches the application name. I don't have passport with my maiden name, have been married 14 years and not used my maiden name since the day I was married!! MA is going back to the dept with this info & hopefully we'll come to some resolution.

Despite the above hiccup & am just thrilled that our application is getting looked at! Need to take away something positive!!!

That is very, very unfortunate. I hope we don't get asked that because South African police are just the worst to work with, it will take us forever to sort out. At least you guys are officially in the queue now and we submitted our app a few days after you so fingers crossed.

  5. Well, this is odd part. CO's email signature doesn't include any location bit.

    [redacted]

    Case Officer

    Permanent Employer Sponsored Entry

Department of Immigration and Border Protection

    Tel : 131 881

    Email: [redacted]@immi.gov.au

    Just this.

At least it looks like there's some action.

  6. Yahoooo!!! Just received our PR grants 5mins ago

    Complete timeline

    12 May 2014 - nomination application

    01 June 2014 - visa application

    06 June 2014 - medical

    13 Aug 2014 - nomination approved

    25 Aug 2014 - visa approved

    No MA. High risk country.

Hoping for all of you waiting that you will receive your good news soon
