Thank you very much Tom, luckily we have a lift from the Airport to Accom with a friends missus. I work for a Digital Printing Company but also do freelance design for myself. I work across the whole spectrum of design; branding, brochure design, magazine layout, flyer design etc. Just all your artwork for print basically. Any contacts or people you could put me in contact with, that'd be fantastic.

Thank you Stormy! 1. In terms of my location, what are my supermarket options. Looked online and it appears that ALDI is the cheapest and also very good quality. Does anybody know the area well, know any hidden gems? Like everyone trying to keep living costs as low as feasibly possible. 2. I believe that to get on buses and trams I will need a MYKI Card which work much like Oyster Cards in the UK. Can I get one before I arrive or will this have to be purchased upon arrival? 3. In terms of my bank, I presume that I will just have to set one up when I arrive? Or is there another way to transfer my GBP to an Australian bank before and begin use when I arrive? Obviously I will have to go a branch to get my debit card. Sorry if any of those are stupid questions and thanks anyone for the help.

Morning/Evening all, new to the forum as a poster but been reading for months. First things first what a fantastic resource this is and what a lovely informative group of posters. So I have taken the plunge and handed in my notice at work, I work as a graphic designer for a digital printing company and I am 22 years old. Travelled to Australia watching the England Cricket Team in 2010 and fell in love with the country. I have many friends through playing cricket in the UK that are Australian, also my best friend has been in the country for a year and extended his visa by doing 88 days agricultural work. I wont bombard you all in my first post but I will be living in Middle Park for the first month, then if my job hunt goes well then extending that to January. I have lots of questions and would appreciate if anyone could help with them. Thanks in advance
