I need to ship a record collection (about 40 LPs) from the UK. I've been quoted almost 400 ukp plus fees and insurance by one of the big shippers which is just ridiculous. Are there any better/cheaper ways to do this? Any ideas what this would this cost by courier or royal mail? The value is only a few hundred so no GST implications but the records have some sentimental value. I would appreciate any more cost effective suggestions.
