  1. Hi,

My EOI has been removed and we didn't receive any grant letter in our mailbox. When I checked online on VEVO, it says grant given on 10th Oct, but it's only showing for main applicant. Any idea how to check dependent details?

    Thanks.

You should have received an email about the grant with yours and the dependants letter..... And it should say on your immi account too

  2. You have a health undertaking to completedue to not doing the chest xray during the medical this is the reason why you only have 6 months from date of grant to validate your visas.

Validation dates can not be changed - either everyone validates each visa or they are lost.

I believe as long as you make first entry to Australia by holiday the health undertaking can be done at a later date when you move permanently to Australia.

The baby will also need a child visa if born offshore current costs around £1500.

Thank you for your answer lebourvellec! It does make sense then!

  3. I was pregnant on my 190 visa, and postponed Medicals , gave birth to my son and then put him as well in the application. I really think that the CO will not extend your entry date, but fingers crossed . You can always activate your visa now, and return to UK. Good luck.

    Hi jupiter!

we should have indeed waited for the MEDS but we were confident that the entry would have been one year after MEDS or pcc (July 2015)

We looked into going to Oz to validate and go all together.... Price is £7000!!!!

I feel kind of stuck at the moment!

  4. Did you notify them of your pregnancy by the way? You may have more of issue with that, if not? Not sure how it works but your new child might nor have a visa if not included? Someone else should be able to give further advice on that part.. Good luck..

yes they are aware of the pregnancy and of the due date.... Baby will need to apply for a child visa if born in the uk, which is not that difficult to obtain once the parents have the visa themselves....

  5. That's the date of first entry probably, you only need to take a trip there. You don't need to move at that point, just activate your visa.. It's a bit of a pain, but an alternative if you're not ready to go yet.. Hope this helps..

    Hi nearlythere1!

We thought about doing that but, a part from the very expensive tickets, because I was pregnant during the medicals I could not have X-rays so I had to fill in a form where I am obliged to prove I have no tb within the first 4 weeks after my first entry in Oz..... Which makes it impossible as I don't have enough holidays to stay that long.....

i feel a bit stuck at the moment!!!

  6. Hello everybody!

We are in a bit of a predicament....

We applied for the 189 visa and then found out I was pregnant with our third baby!

We have been granted the visa last Tuesday and given date of entry by 24th of February 2015, one week beofore the due date!

We thought that usually the entry date is after one year from the medicals or pcc, whichever is earlier..... So it came to us as a bit of a shock.

we would prefer to have the baby in the UK as it makes life much much easier.....

We emailed our CO and hope for a positive answer.... Any further advice?

    Thanks

  7. I am not sure whether the contact number is there in the mail ......... I get the mails from my agent so they may be removing it - but you can definitely see one number at the bottom of the letters such as "Request Docs Info", "Request Checklist" if you have got any additional requirements earlier. I think even when you got a case officer they must have sent you some pdf file - check the footer............... mine says " GSM Brisbane - Telephone:

i only have have position number 60011638 which does not look like a phone number :(

  8. Congrats and best of luck ............... I think they have given you Feb 2015 bcos they want you to be in Australia before your delivery. If you have delivery outside Australia - you will have to get dependent visa for child as well .......... just a random guess........

Thank mss78! We have guessed the same thing :)

I still would like to call them to try and find out the reason, just to give it a try....

  9. They put on your grant whether it is conditional of you doing anything in particular -- mines had nothing (I'm not sure it's common to have conditions though?). I'm planning April 2015; give me time to sell stuff in the flat etc.

I thought all of them had a date of entry.....

Well ill done for you visa again and good luck!!!!

  10. :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:Finally!!!! Visa granted today!!! Great news..... Although we have a very tight entry, 24th of February... And I am pregnant due mid February!!!!

Does anyone know why entry must be so soon??? Pcc and medicals were all done in July!!!

    never mind... We gotta go!!!!

  11. Sorry to go slightly off topic from the June visa allocation. Does anyone on here know if the partner (spouse) of a main applicant needs to have references and proof of all the work history asked for in a visa application?

I am the spouse and can provide all that, but I haven't told my current employer of our plans yet. (And would prefer not to intil 8 or 4 weeks before I want to finish)

Any info appreciated, as always :)

    Hi!

On your immi account there are lots of documents they request but not all of them are necessary. So if you are jot claiming points for your spouse (you) you don't have to provide anything more than brith certificate, passport, medicals, pcc, wedding certificate (or similar) and proof of English if necessary

    Hope this helps

  12. Hey,

yes some have got the visa immediately after submitting the form ,but it all depends on how much cases the CO is handling..

Yes it is much better scenario then before where we had no idea what is going on with our application...Now atleast we know our application status...

Does anyone with their experience tell me, 'Is it that DIBP sends Grant letters only in their morning time... Do they have a particular time slot wherein they do this?'

I am asking this so that i STOP checking the mail the whole day again and again..:err: i have read ppl referring about the letters in the morining ..

All the Best to all of Us..

    Regards..

They send emails during their office hours which are during our night and morning, so I think you can stop checking emails after breakfast..... Today I think all the emails are gone out and we might hear some hung back on Monday night, early morning!

Have a good relaxing weekend everyone!

  13. Hey,

I have uploaded the form 815 on 4th sept..

    Fingers crossed

    take care

Oh well..... I was hoping for less but hey, as long as we have the visa at the end.... :)
