  1. Good move - but better be more specific about visa types. I really encourage your efforts but no benefit in finding a horse competing with a camel !!. I hope you got the point :-)
  2. Thanks Shellyk666. That was helpful. Received my AHPRA confirmation today as well. :-)
  3. Silly Question - how do I insert a footnote to my post ???
  4. One more question. Does anyone get police certificate ( ACRO) for spouse as well ?? And I have not certified any of my documents - just uploaded colour scanned copies.
  5. Starting a new thread to discuss the anxieties and process after Lodgement of 189. I just clicked SUBMIT and paid around $7100 for the whole family !! Front loaded all documents except payslips from previous employer as I was not ready to stay up for another 3 hours scanning them in - but will definitely do them tomorrow. Had my medical Today as well. No concerns at all :smile::smile:. In terms of Certifying documents - does everyone goes to Notary or is there any other route ???
  6. Hi Maggie - Thanks for highlighting the issues with Work experience. I always thought that skill assessment is only for Qualifications and not the work experience. I am under the impression that documents to prove that you worked for 10 years or more is enough. Please correct me if I am wrong here. Moreover I have a solid experience of working as a doctor since 2001 and I guess we do not need the standard skill assessment - registration with AMC through specialist pathway Justifies our skills. . Please see the link http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/skilled-occupations/skills-assessed.htm Thanks Sissi for your reply. I will wait to get my IELTS score before I file my application.
  7. Hello Everyone, Regular visitor to this website and cant say enough- how useful this forum is. Need some help from experts. 1. Can I take IELTS after I submit my EOI ? I am ticking NO for IELTS in the form so no points for english Language but if this can be added based on my result ?? I have everything ready apart from IELTS and Medicals/ACRO. 2. I am scoring 60 points and one important component is my work experience of 10 years. I have all the pay slips and most of P60 and letters from employers stating my salary and job title and duration of work. Will that be enough or I need to add anything else ?? 3. What is the average time from EOI to Visa Grant - this is quite crucial as I have to start Job in Australia in December. Signed a contract last month. 4. Will it help to attach Contract to the visa application? Sorry for a long post. I hope I will be a regular member here now,
