They aim to process something like 75% of applications within 3 months, so 6 weeks really is early days. It's just that they have actually been being really efficient and getting some grants done in 6 weeks, so now we have been spoilt lol. Sadly mine is not one of them (yet! I have good vibes for tonight, crossing all fingers and toes)

i had submitted all docs to immi and have been waiting for 6 weeks for my grant but still no reply.

is anyone out there who is waiting for their 189 grants and is pissed off by their slow processing..

okay i understand this one but can i contact them to know about the status of my application as they have crossed their deadline of 3 months processing of 189 visa.

furthermore, the underlined portion is giving me creeps and i am very worried.

please some one help.

I am in the process of gathering documents for a 189 visa application and I have the same question in mind. How did it go with your application? Did they accept documents other than payslips (e.g. income tax certificate, employment certificate, work experience certificate etc) as sufficient proof of your work experience?

it is better you provide them with your tax returns , income tax number, complete bank statement in which you received your salaries and it is in your favour if u can provide them with the recent coloured scans of your salary cheque..3-4 recent cheque would be enough

as you have said , you worked when you had a valid visa so in my opinion your experience might get accepted but you never know what your case officer decides..

i would emphasize you in getting a proper advise from a certified mara agent in your country and he can help you best.

just go for pte... buy their preparation book available on their website and practice. i went for it & after some prep i got my req score. not scoring in ielts made me question my english ability but it wasnt after i got my pte result that i found ielts was just a big flaw to begin with and lots of ppl are frustrated with its outcome.

The date by which you must make your first entry to Australia is usually 12 months from the date of your first medical or PCC and once the visa is granted, that date is set in stone and can't be changed. You don't then need to stay in the country if you're not ready to make the big move, but you must enter to validate your visa even if you then leave immediately after you clear immigration.

i would rather advise you to make your mind in skilled independent 189 category as no sponsor is required.

i wasted 1.5 years looking for a sponsor and after some tiring search i was able to find few of them but they were charging huge amounts and i did not wanted to be their cash milking cows like the ones on student visas.

so i tried shifting my profession. hope it helps

Hi, regarding your medicals I wouldn't worry. Ours showed no update at all even when our visa was granted. It normally takes about 10 days but don't panic if it doesn't show as they will let you know if there is any problems. Debbs

my meds were uploaded by emedical clinic on friday 27 march but immi acc says health evidence as requested ( not received)..should i be worried about the result of my medicals as the silence is worrying me alot..:frown:

( my meds were done during 28 days period given by case officer but were uploaded after it)

one more thing is how much time in visa (189)is granted to shift from native country to australia after grant.

28 days, four weeks from the date sent. But don't leave it until the last minute either and remember the time difference.

oh my..my medicals are on 20 march friday and they take 3 days to upload..so what should i do?

my co sent me mail on 23 feb 2015 and asked for form 80 , pcc and medicals..although i have uploaded everything except medicals but i want to know how should i count my 28 days as in whether i should include sat , sundays and aus public holidays?

my last date is up in 5 days and i want to quickly submit my form 80 but after i scanned it its size is 5.24 mb..

can someone suggest what should i do as immi account says one cannot upload document more than 5mb..

i also wanted to mention that she have more rights than you cos she is a citizen and you aren't..so thats y her civil appl was accepted quickly.

hey sup..read your forum and chucked in to say that my relative also went from the same situation but he was a au citizen and his wife was on temporary spouse visa... all i can advise you is that lawyers help is only good when u really are thinking of separation but if you are on two boats on this decision then these lawyers gonna milk every dime out of you and in the end the judge will give you both an oppurtunity to give your marriage a try.but in the end of parent's ego and mess they do, lies the future of their child.

so i cant predict your relationship fate all i can say is you can give a try TILL U GET YOUR PR. AFTER that you can do whatever you want.

I found a solicitor/registered migration agent today in Sydney CBD. She has knowledge about Family Law, AVO and Immigration Law. She also confused about my situation. The AVO's cases are quite different in Sydney/Burwood court. It is very easy to get AVO for ladies without any criminal report, evidence. Only a statement would be enough due to violence possibility. Laws are more nearer to for ladies than mens. She had full of false informations in her statements includes " i killed a man, pulled out someone's eyes in a fight, slapped her face and etc " . Her statement had not supplied any evidences or reports. She also said i have fears against me due to my visa conditions. Her case in the court took only 5 minutes without any questioning. It was civil application and applied to court by herself.

 

My case session took 3 hours in the court. There was one witness ( neighbour ) , photos, doctor reports about physical violence and medical report with MRI Scan results. There was also photos about damage personal properties and AVO application was made by Police Forces. I saw the differences with my eyes between man and woman AVO cases in the court.

 

I will keep post it here. It would help for other victims who has same or similar problem with me for IMMI. Please post it here if you have more informations. I need to get more informations if its possible.

I've a query with regard to my employment history on the 189 visa application stage......

 

 

I can't fit all my duties and responsibilities onto the allowed space so I've just put in as much as possible

I'm assuming this will be ok and they'll look at my CV and skills/employment assessment for further details?

 

Also I'm assuming I only have to put in my employment history for the years that I can count as having employment in my nominated occupation?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

as far as your duties are concerned just mention them briefly. for instance don't write full sentence. in my case i just mentioned major duties because the space is not enough..you should not worry coz at the end u would be uploading them your employment docs such as skilled ref letter from your employer which should contain all your duties.

you should count your employment years as stated in your skilled assessment letter by the concerned assessment authorities to which i hope you had done your skill assessment first before lodging your eoi.

Take both,

But since you have sent the correction form off then all your paperwork will relate to new passport.

Dr can then scan both and attache both. You'll then have covered all bases.

Alternative is can you cancel your emedical and apply again.

Try talking to the medical assessor they might be able to advise you.

hello everyone,

my visa officer contacted me today and asked for form 80,health and pcc and its submission in 28 days..

i wanted to ask whether visa officer will call in my office for a query after i submit above documents( after 28 days) or he might call any day??

the reason i ask this question is that i have to go outside from office to handle daily bank transactions and all my colleagues are new so i do not trust them.i am really concerned whether they will call or email my employer..

please share your experience...
