I believe you can apply for the rcb and the nomination at the same time.

There is NO WAY I'd consider going without an agent in your situation. Go Matilda and George Lombard are both excellent (I agree it can be hard to find a good one).

Can I apply for RCB approval and nomination/PR application at same time. Any tips or hints from people who have been down this path as self sponsored individuals?

I run my own company and am now looking at doing it all myself as have had some poor experiences with agents.
