After calling the Italian speaking team, who told me usual story about having to wait blah blah. I have finally been granted a 100 visa, I was crying! So happy guys, I was starting to get worried as 9 months and 4 days. We had already booked flights we are off on 12 February, as husband needed 3 months notice at work. Good luck all!!!

Is anyone else apart from @Grabri still waiting for a grant that applied in feb. Fingers crossed for you grabri. Hopefully March grants start next week

I am hoping for December too as I am going to Melbourne for 2 weeks from the 28th Dec. It would be great to be able to validate on that trip.

 

I'm finding it interesting how the email to CO seems to work in waves. Two weeks ago it seemed everyone who emailed got their grant immediately, but now it is back to the 9 month mark.

 

My travel dates are so awkward that if I need to leave the country for 3 days for the grant I could well miss the wedding.... oops.

maybe they figured it out that everyone was doing it lol. Wonder if I matters if it's a pmv or partner visa. I'm just thinking January now. Any earlier is a bonus.

Anymore grants this week? 5 weeks to go till my 8 month mark. Hope goes quick

We submitted 18th February but still no sign of the visa. I've noticed a lot of people here talk about emailing their CO - how did you get their email address? The contacts sheet we were given lists the 'email' contact as the contact form on the website. We filled this out a few days ago due to an address change but have heard nothing back, not even a confirmation.

My co emails me from her own address. So I use that to contact her. I've heard they have stopped giving them out now and you just have to use the general email

It is worth noting that we emailed our CO on Monday and recieved an email from him Tuesday afternoon saying he had approved the VISA that day, straight after the grant letter came through.

 

It is starting to seem like they are only granting when prompted by the applicant... IMHO

Hi Chloe! Yeah I'm still waiting. I applied February 27th. So I'm at 8 months 9 days. My co only works on partner visas on a Thursday/Friday, so I'm hoping tomorrow for my grant. Looking at others though, it may not come until nearer the end of the month.

WP has always said 8-9 months to us so I'm eagerly waiting for November and then I will email her to see how the visa is coming along, seems to be the trigger to getting a visa grant!!

Hopefully yours comes through in December!!

Yeah I'm gonna email her when I'm at 8 months. Im praying it's December haven't seen my fiancé for 12 months now the wait is killing me!

@katherine1989 I have WP as well. I applied in April and she still says 8-9 months. I think the time changed for new applicants from August

@coxy1804 I've heard that an email to the general enquiry can trigger a grant even tho your co is off. Worth a try

My PMV application went in on February 11th. My fiance left England, however, in early September 2013.
