When it asked for the name on my passport I put my maiden name as that's what it is. Heaps of my evidence was in my married name tho. I got the 820. I can't believe how quick it was. Hope it's the same for you

@sarahlouxx I applied at the end of May and just got my grant. Took 12 days. Have you applied yet?
-
Hi all just had my 801 granted. So happy only took 12 days. I assume that's because I came from a pmv. So happy. Thank you for all the helpful advice on here
-
Thank you. Just needed to be sure. Was panicking id left something out

I have applied for my 820/801 from my pmv. My sponsor didn't do a police check. Is this required? If so when it comes through can u just upload it onto my online application
-
I didn't bring anything extra and don't find many things that are much more expensive then the uk. Bedding is not expensive just depends where you buy it from. Food you get used to not having the same brands but most are just as good. The only thing I miss and cannot find is angel delight lol

Thank you for your reply. Do you think they will still ask me for the form 80

Hi I've just applied for my partner visa from prospective marriage visa and it's now asked me to upload my documents. Which one do I upload my statement too? Do I have to upload something for each section
-
@sarahlouxx have you heard that the visa's are going up in July. Any idea if ours will increase.
-
I'm just going to make sure I apply before the 1st of July
-
I can't see where it says it. Because you pay $1,145 for the partner visa from pmv. All I can see is the partner visa's at full price
-
Is the partner visa from prospective marriage visa going up?
-
Thank you that was helpful

Does anybody know if I have to finish my form online before my partner can do his? Because he keeps getting an error message when he fills out his form. I'm only half way through mine

I know once I've done this I can't wait to get working. I'm in Newcastle nsw

I reckon hopefully if my hubby hurrys up I'll apply at the end of this month so 4 months into my pmv visa I will be. I know all the extra money for this is driving me crazy. I'm not Working yet either. My hubby seems to be happy with me being a housewife. I'm just finding the financial evidence hard to find as we are staying with family atm. Fingers crossed they don't make us get new passports then lol I've still got 8 years left on my English one.

I'm currently in the same position getting things together to apply for my partner visa from PMV. my hubby is also so laid back. I'm trying to get all the forms done and he's so unorganised lol. I keep reminding him needs to be done or I'll be going back to England lol. I'm using my passport with my maiden name on. Hope they don't ask me to get one in my married name.

I'm in the middle of applying for the 820/801 partner visa. It's been much easier online then the paper application I did for my pmv
-
Good luck for the move Stacey. I've been here three months now (NSW) still absolutely loving it and haven't missed home yet at all

Hoping my fellow poms and Aussies are safe and sound tonight. Seems to have gone quiet now where we are
-
Yes please that would be great x

Thank you for your replies. What do you do for witness statements then? Do they write them out then scan or fill the form out on the computer

I am getting ready to apply for my partner visa onshore from my pmv. I did my pmv the paper way and was wondering if it is easier/ more complicated applying online? Pros and cons

Just says they will contact me in 2 years time for extra info for the 801. I am I was expecting a wait. Was a surprise when I saw the email yesterday. Must be quicker cos I came from a pmv. The name thing shouldn't matter.
