  1. You are right Ozmaniac, I was mislead by another forum. It can be possible in some countries to get medical done without a reference number but in the netherlands, the process is exactly the same as you described. A medical institution will submit the results themselves.
  2. Hey Ozmaniac, Thanks for such a clear answer. I've started uploading my documents!
  3. Hi VeryStormy, Thanks for your reply! I had indeed done ielts before EOI. It's about my partner, who is secondary applicant.
  4. Hi, I have recently recieved the invitation for the application of visa 189. My partner and I am really excited with all the steps going smoothly so far. I have started filling up a long form on the immiAccount already. However, we have a couple of things which we are a little bit confused about. 1. What are the next steps after filling up this 17 pages form on the immi site? 2. My partner has already planned IELTS to proof functional English but she is going to take it next month, should we wait before applying or should we just proceed with the application? 3. I've read on one of the forum questions that a form 80 needs to be filled as well in addition to the usual form. Should, I start filling that form as well? 4. Does actual visa process start after payment of the fees? I would love to read an existing forum article about visa application and guidelines. Can anyone send a link? Thanks!

    hi!

Hi Paul, Thanks for your kind reply to my post. Interesting to know that you've lived in the Netherlands. My wife was born in Poeldijk which is a part of Monster I believe. You'll be very familiar with the typical landscape of this region full of greenhouses I went to the xpdite forum, they have very interesting posts, specially lists of things to do before leaving the Netherlands, as my wife loves to make lists of everything . Pomsinoz site seems to have a massive community with very active users which makes it also nice to use. Good to hear that there is a prominent Dutch community in Melbourn. Sometimes, it's hard to convince our family with very good reasons to move to Australia. Our arguments are mostly like, the weather is so nice there and we'll have plenty of nature and room there. I am curious which other reasons are there for Dutch people to move to Australia. Additionally, the visa requirements, process and costs are overwhelming, is it really worth moving. Our response is generally, if you'll not do it, you will never know if it is worth doing I would love to hear what others think about it. Groetjes and Thanks
  6. It shouldn't be hard after doing a couple of practice tests. I am not a native english speaker, so for me the writing and speaking part were the hardest. I am also going to retake, and this time I am going to practice these two parts the most

    hi!

Thanks for your welcoming message Calx, At the moment I am gathering all the documents which are needed for skill assessment, meanwhile I found out that I need 'academic' IELTS and not 'general training' one (which I had passed already). I read that academic is required in many posts on this forum. Joining this forum earlier could save me an extra IELTS test , but its never too late and retaking this exam can improve my english more.
