Dear All Have applied for 190 visa, officer contacted me and asked for spouse English language ability, I sent the document but was rejected and she asked wether I want to pay the VAC2, I responded with Yes. The problem is that they usually respond mails within 3 weeks so in order not to lose time as am I planning to land in Adelaide latest of Jan: Is the officer's above response means that I am so close for being granted?? shall I start packing and go on the necessary procedures(selling my car as an example) as if I am granted the visa?? What should I do next? Pls help

Hi After a long struggle seeking the 189, I have ended up with option of NT visa 190 or 489! I do not have links, job offers or studied in NT, shall I go to 489 directly, or try my luck with the better 190? Also, my passport will expire next month, can I still send the certified copy to the NT, or should I issue a new one? Many thanks...

Simply it's age. I am 38 and not able to move now to OZ.if I waited for 2years beforecapplying I will lose5 points and not able to get the 60. I am working now in the financial capability issue. Thanks for the rest of info.

Hi All 1- NT requires that Sub class190 applicant should move to this state right after getting the visa and work for 2 years " live in the NT and work in your skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation in the NT for no less than two (2) years from your visa grant or arrival". What if I got the visa, but couldn't go directly to NT for a period of 2 years for personal reasons, then go on the third year? 2- I live in Egypt, how can I fulfill the condition of Financial capacity? what sort of evidence do NT need exactly? 3- What sort of evidences NT needs to show that I have undertaken detailed research into living and working in the NT ? will you please give examples? 4- Evidencing my employability in the NT. Will you please advise how can I prove that? 5- I am applying as Finance Manager, but I read that Accounting market is very bad in NT. Is that true? I really apprecaite your valuable responses as it will really change my course of life and my family as well.

Hi All All my dox are ready for visa lodge except this CPAA skill employment which has screwed all my Accountant general 189 process. Although I have earned a bachelor degree in Accounting since 1998, however CPAA have deleted my experience points as I have only achieved the Australian bachelor degree requirement at 2013 after finishing my ACCA diploma in IFR, making me loose 15 years of exp, thus 15 points evaporates! My question, is this letter mandatory for the DIPB case officer? I have all my other experience dox ready. The process cannot be completed without this CPAA letter?? The DIPB booklet6 says exactly at page 21 :"Your relative assessing authoriy MAY also be able to provide an opinion on your employment claims". What do you think? go and take my chances or seek unfavorable 190 subclass? Many many thanks

Wouldn't it be better to go for ICCA for a new assessment? I think CPAA will drop all my past experience when I take thier exam and make a new assessment.

No. only a diploma in IFR from the ACCA.

Hi All have received a negative skill assessment letter (not academicallysuitable for migration under ANZSCO 221111-Accountant General), the reason isthe epic missing Accounting theory. Should I: 1- Seek re-assessment with other lenient assessing authority? Please suggestone. 2- Seek the help of an agent. 3- Take an online course for this Accounting theory. How andcost? 4- Quite the whole idea of going to OZ. Appreciate your help.
