Hi there, we just had our house packed and shipped last week went with PSS and would certainly recommend they packed everything up well we don't fly until the end of the month but wanted the container to catch us up rather then wait too long for our stuff within two days we got emailed the details of how to track the ship etc very happy, I worried a lot about who to choose as both positives and negatives with all but went with the ones who gave the most information and advice, hope this helps a little?

We originally looked into batemans bay but just too far out for work opportunitys, I will be an early years teacher and my husband is an illustrator/ artist so need to get straight on with job searching! There's just sooo much you can't arrange from this end :?

:dull: My first post and it's right when we are about to jet off! It's difficult to describe how it feels right at this very last part in the UK but what I do know is I'm feeling quite worried about jobs, schools, renting with little proof of income as we don't even have jobs lined up yet and lots more, just wondering time frames for others in NSW for these types of things for those who aren't/weren't sponsored by an employer?? ?

Thank you for the advice, I think the reason it's proving difficult to secure a short term let is because it is the school 2 week break ? I think shell harbour/ cove is where our hearts set but can't secure a long term rental from the UK as no agents seem to reply and there's some great properties online right now. Good to know there's people from the UK settled in the area

hi there, I have only just joined this evening (don't ask me why we fly in 3 months!) we are moving to kiama/shellharbour/Nowra area not 100% decided until we get there, but I really wanted some info on primary schools? My children will be 6 & 7 so will be at school together and there doesn't seem a huge choice? Also we are struggling to find short term accommodation for when we arrive for say 5-6 weeks? Any advice would be great :rolleyes:
