Hi Linday Thanks for the advice, we contacted immi and our daughter last night and the Halifax this morning so hopefully everything will go through within the next couple of weeks.

Hi all We've just had the request for the 2nd instalment fee of our cpv 143 visa which needs to be paid within the next 28 days. This needs to be paid via cheque from either a UK bank with an Australian presence or through an Australian bank. We've tried our bank and the HSBC, our bank doesn't have a presence (Halifax) and the HSBC won't help us. Our daughter lives over there and our question is - has anyone ever just paid the money into a relatives bank account and had the cheque drawn up over there? Any help with this issue would be gratefully received. Many thanks Ivan and Heather
