  1. Hello, I never got round to driving and, as I'm flying out to Brisbane on the 25th August, I've been trying to squeeze in a crash course but time restraints are proving difficult, plus they are really expensive, considering I have no guarantee of passing. I am flying out to Brisbane so I can get my 3 months rural work out the way, so I can apply for the 2nd year visa straight away. I assumed I would have to be able to drive in order to work on a farm, for driving instructors and driving into towns etc, but some people I've spoken to have assured me that they know people in Australia who have never had to use their license. Do you think I NEED a license in order to work on a farm? The odds are weighed against me in terms of learning to drive, arranging a test and then actually passing in that time, and I'm wondering if any of it is worth it Any replies greatly appreciated !
