  1. Hi everyone, hoping someone can give me some advice! I'm an Aus citizen in a relationship with a UK citizen. We met whilst he was in Australia on WHV, and again when he came back on a subsequent tourist visa. We're currently doing the long distance relationship thing, and assessing options for a partner visa for him to come to Australia. (His occupation is not on the CSOL) We're planning to get engaged in the next few months, however here comes the complexity - I'm separated, but not yet divorced. I can apply for a divorce in July 2014, but i understand that the process can take a couple of months to finalise. My question is, can we submit a prospective marriage visa with the understating that my divorce will be finalized in the next few months? Or do we have to wait until its final to put the application in? I'm hearing waiting times of 9 to 12 months, so we really want to get the application submitted so the clock starts ticking sooner!! Also if anyone has an idea of recent processing times for PMVs submitted in London we'd love to hear! Thanks so much : )
