  1. Yes the visa was refused for not having enough evidence, he will certainly be meeting up with a agent once he arrives back in england
  2. Hi, I will be going back to the UK for a while, I have a HR licence and was wondering if i got a International drivers license that would allow me to drive trucks back home
  3. So today the agent offered to pay for my offshore visa applaction
  4. Hi Wrussell, he has been given a Bridging visa E on grounds to leave with no set date and we have to go back to immigration in 2weeks to find what date they want him to leave. my agent got the refusal on the 14-08 he told us on the 19-08 we said we wanted to appeal and transferred the cash into his account so we thought everything was ok immigration called us on the 10-10 saying that my visa had expired and they received no appeal, we got told as my visa expired more then 21 days before there was no option then to leave
  5. Hi blossom, yes the agent was MARA registered, we always paid by bank transfer We only found out that the agent didn't send the appeal when the immigration called us and told us that my partner was an unlawful non citizen as they hadn't received an appeal from us so he will have to leave and we will have to apply for a offshore partner visa as we have been informed this is the only visa he is allowed to apply for
  6. Hi, My partner who is English and I applied for a defacto visa and it was declined. We got our Agent to appeal the application to fight for our case and as far as we knew the appeal had been lodged. My Partner then got a phone call saying that he was unlawful and that no appeal had been lodged. Our agent took our money but didn't actually send the appeal request off. He did however tell us that he did send it off. Later we found that this was untrue. My partner and I have 2 car loans, a new rental, new furniture and a puppy - all of which our agent knew, and my partner now can't work and has to leave the country. The Immigration tell us that we have no other options other than for him to leave the country and apply off shore. This leaves me, an Australian born citizen now financially unable to survive and each week I am now going to go further into debt. Do we have any legal legs to stand on to get some form of compensation due to our agent who we paid, not doing his job properly thus, our life coming tumbling down. Any info or advise would be helpful, thanks
  7. thank you so we should just get more evidence to show that our relationship in still ongoing
