Thanks for that. Will email if I don't hear within a few hours.

I emailed the CO using the online form yesterday, but haven't heard back yet. If anyone could PM KP's email that would be much appreciated. Seems much more effective than through the form.
9 months exactly today, so its more than due now!

It will be 9 months for me tomorrow, and haven't heard anything since the request for more info. Should I be chasing the CO or does that suggest everything is in order?
-
If you have the email address, can you DM it to me please?

Anyone got KP as a CO?

My visa has finally come through. I applied 25th April 2014 and received the email 19th Jan 2015 so around 8 months 26 days. Thanks for all the updates. This forum really has been so helpful. Best of luck to all those still waiting!
Just out of curiousity, who is your CO?

Good to see the grants coming through again. It's 9 months for us on Wednesday, almost there!
-
We are still waiting, 8 months and 28 days now. Fingers crossed its this week

Thanks Chortlepuss, hopefully I should be able to get something good prior to going out, we will see. I have friends with contacts and found out las t night that another friend has contacts at Melbourne Uni which might be a good starting point if I can get something there.
Let us know how you get on. I'm in the same boat as you and would also like to line something up beforehand if possible.

Hopefully just a few more days for us now
-
Congratulations! Did you get the 100?
-
It's just a few more days, it will pass really quickly

21st April for me, so should be through in the next two weeks!

Might be worth checking with an agent on this one for a definitive answer. My situation was similar to yours (aussie wife, 1 kid with aussie citizenship). We didn't include the kid as "migrating with us" as we were advised we didn't need to as they aren't technically migrants. We are nearing grant stage and our CO hasn't mentioned anything so you should be fine to leave them off.
Also, we didn't need a medical for the young one.
If we are granted soon I'll let you know as our situations are very similar.

I applied, on the 8th of April and mine got granted today so 3 days shy of 9 months,
I had gotten an email in November stating i'd "met the core requirements of the visa" and that i'd have to wait till January before i got anymore info.
and all thanks to my wonderful wife for corralling me through it like a herd of cats!
hope you all get the news you're looking for this year guys
I applied a few weeks after you, but didn't get any mail saying I'd met the requirements, anything to be worried about?
-
Looks likely there will be no more grants before the New Year, hopefully there won't be too big a backlog when they start issuing again
-
We applied on 21st April, so 8 months and 7 days so far. Any grants for applications later than that?

We are looking to relocate to Melbourne in the middle of next year, but are concerned about the job situation there right now.
My background is in as an architect/team lesf in banking market risk technology. How is the market holding up in this sector in Melbourne? (would consider Sydney too if needs be)
