Want to get my 2nd year visa work sorted and out the way hoping to find it within approx an hour - hour and half off perth bit off a long shot. Can any one point me in the direction off finding some regional work in westurn australia .

@tom drinks are pretty expensive out usually around $10 on a night out. Bottle Off vodka is around $40 for a litre in the stores In perth anyway

@thomas. Hey my job actually went real quite this past 2 weeks so I decided to get a new job now at a factory start monday. I just looked on all the facebook sites Perth backers gumtree seek the lot and just sent my resume out to them all and just got luck with this job. Dont give up because no one wants to go back home! haha

Hey! Ive been here 2 months and My problems sound quite similar to yours. I had fair bit off savings.Not many friends no girlfriend no idea career wise. Could say pretty down depressed not much of a social life and all that etc. Buts its been the best decision of my life earning plenty off money slowly meeting new people . You will love it if you come out here.

Well im staying with a friend at his house Ive met his friends and been away and all that! But there always skint etc I want to have a good time and not hold back with my cash haha.

So Ive almost been here 2 months, Im 18year old from the uk fairly shy and need to meet some new people and try break this shyness haha!!! Any one else had this issue am I missing something really simple out I don't know. Haha Ive uploaded the documents a few times and nothing seems to happen at all. You need proof off the $5000 as a Visa requirement I know alot off people say they dont check but Id rather have it just incase

So I booked my flight this morning for the 22nd November after passing my driving test yesterday! I have already set up my bank account a few weeks back and will transfer around $5000. Should I also take $500 cash just to make sure im okay till I go to the bank to activate account? Im going to my uk bank on monday to get a certified copy off my bank account to prove I have over the $5000 . Will be getting my travel insurance sorted today. Is there anything else I need to before I go that Im missing? Do I get my tax number sorted once Im there? Any tips etc appreciated I will be staying at a friends once I get there.

Hi thanks for the reply I have already set my account up with common wealth and there is no monthly fee for the account think its because its a travler account or something along them lines.Can I use moneycorp to send it from my uk account to my common wealth account? Cheers

Going on my whv next month (providing pass driving test on 31st) Was planning on staying at a freinds who I previously stayed at in 2012 for a holiday but been told no room until after xmas but eager to go now so will be looking for hostels until then. Any one got any tips/check list before I go? Saved a fair bit to go and set up my bank account today with common wealth whats the best way to transfer some cash over as Im sure there must be some charges for doing this and different exchange rates depending on how I do it? Any tips appreciated and advice
