  1. Tradeiwnd is a unique network of Social Workers and organisations across Melbourne and Regional Victoria seeking flexible contract opportunities in Melbourne and Regional Victoria. We work with a variety of organisations including State and Local Government, Not for Profits and Charities. We can provide you with a selection of work options within Social Work between 3 - 5 days per week to suit your availability and timesframes for work. The sectors of Social Work available include: Child, Youth and Family Aged and Disability Mental Health Hospitals Refugee and Asylum Seekers Housing and Homelessness Counselling - Alcohol/Drugs, Gambling, Financial, Family Dispute Service Coordination and Rostering Direct Support Work The majority of the work will be in INTAKE, ASSESSMENT and CASE MANAGEMENT and you will need to have worked in the sector you are seeking work within due to the nature of contract work. To be eligible to join this network, it is essential you hold the following: Bachelor of Social Work (other relevant qualifications are considered for Direct Support Work) AASW eligibility The right to live and work in Australia (WHV holders are encouranged to apply) UK Police Check Willingness to undertake Australia police and Working with Childdren Checks You will need to provide original or certified copies of all documentation.   3. Tradewind Australia is currently seeking a British Social Worker to be based in Melbourne and working with Older Adults who emigrated to Australia as children. This full time role is suited to an extensively experienced practitioner who can manage highly complex cases involving trauma, abuse, mental health and protection concerns. The position is based within a unique not for profit organisation and may involve interstate travel. Transfer of sponsorship is available and you will need to be in Australia with a proven extensive background in the complexities listed.
