The reason i want to apply for the Visa this early is because i have the money for it right now and i want to be organised. Im actually 22...still a young pup

A 417 WHV? and if so did you go through a travel site or do it yourself on the governement site? and if so if so did they ask for proof of funds during the application??

the visa lasts a year upon entering the country...therefore it doesn't matter when you apply as long as its a no more than a year before you leave. Also i dont think you can get a visa in a day...

AT the end of the application it asks you to check a box to certify that you have enough funds.....but if im not leaving until december it seems odd that i would need to show proof of the money right now. Also i dont want to lie and say that i have sufficient funds now when i wont have them until i leave

I want to apply for my WHV. Does anyone know if you have to supply proof of funds during the application (on the Australian government website) or is it just when you enter the country? im to scared to apply until i know for sure as i wont have the money until i have worked over the summer. help!!

I hope thats the case as i will be working over the summer to save up so i hope they dont ask me for proof of funds now. If they ask when entering the country thats fine as i will have the money......Student problems. COYS - Come on you Spurs
