  1. Hi All,

Do you know if I can move from my current defacto visa to a new defacto Visa with my new girlfriend ?

    My question is :

Is it possible to do this :

    - Move from a defacto Visa to a Student Visa

    - Wait 6 months

    - Move from student Visa to an other defacto Visa

Thanks you very much for your help

if you have only been with new GIRLFRIEND 6 months how on earth do you think you'll get accepted for a PARTNER visa?

you wouldnt even meet the criteria

  2. I think everyone feels like that at some point. But 6 months might still be too soon to return if you havent given it time. Its like a new job. You'll always think on the first few days 'oh i cant do this' ( well i have anyway lol) being in a new country is no different. My parents moved there from the uk and my mum hated it and wanted to return. Only they couldnt afford it, so obviously had to stay and adjust. And they did. And 25 years later they are still there and love it and would never move back to the uk. If its the family your missing id suggest making friends and getting involved in something. Ive known of peoplewho have returned to the uk after thinking aus wasnt for them and realised it was a mistake going back and regretted it!

  3. Not too bad for us cos we are together at least. But after applying it was looking fwd to getting acknowledgement email, then looking fwd to xmas, then the medical in january, his bday in april. We just kept ourself occupied with something to look fwd to each month to keep our minds off it. Once the visa is granted all the waiting will be worth it! And remember absence makes the heart grow fonder! Lol x

  4. As blossom79 said u can come and go as you like. Im the same, dual citizenship for both uk and australia..when you leave the uk, leave on ur aussie passport or the airline may ask for visa details. And when u arrive in aus obviously use the aussie passport again. Only use ur british one whrn arriving in the uk. But do carry both just in case.

  5. She didn't say that did she. They have already had a lease contract, this was a renewal. Anyway we have been through all this, it was an error but lets try and help and move on from who is to blame.

Umm yeh she did say that actually..referring to other rentals in the area......!!!

  6. First of all, you signed the lease. You should have read every detail. You say you misread the 7 for a 1? A lease will always have the words written so the word july would have been written on it.

People break leases all the time. You keep paying rent til they find a new tenant. Unfortunatley it has to be advertised as 650 because its a lease break so tje landlord isnt losing money due to you getting out of the contract.

Is there no way u can still buy the house and rent it out until july and move in then?
