  1. Thanks for the reply. And that's what I thought as well. I emailed the migration plan unit for victoria asking them if I could change my state and the reply was: Thank you for advising us of your situation. As you will remember part of your migration application required you to commit to living in Victoria for two years. Your agreement to this commitment was a primary reason why you were granted a visa to Australia and you signed a declaration in this regard. We expect all applicants to honour this commitment. Hence I got confused; do they mean mandatory condition on visa or just honour it as you said? cheers
  2. Hi I am currently living in Melbourne on a State nominated visa (176), and was wondering if it's possible to live somewhere else apart from VIC but still pay taxes to victorian government by working as a contractor? Would it fulfill the living in victoria for 2 years requirement? Thanks guys
