The letter said it's a special ceremony due to the increased number of people waiting for a ceremony. It's not a normal ceremony, you just go and say your pledge and get your certificate, no guests are allowed. But it looks like you need to be invited to it.

I actually got a letter today about a one-time option to attend an earlier ceremony with DIAC instead of the normal Melville council ceremony. Now I have to wait for instructions from DIAC.
